So I went to the AMD/Microsoft Roadshow and picked up my AMD bundle, but as an added bonus my new 20.1 LCD monitor came today as well!! So I'm rocking with a new computer setup tonight.

So this is what my new machine is
Windows XP 64
Athlon 64 3200+ stock cooling
Asus A8N-E
2 x 512 mushkin PC3200
ATI x800 XT
Maxtor 200 GB
CoolMax 450w 140mm fan PSU

Should be a beast :D

Here is a photo of my monitor.

can I have some money?

I'm thinking about upgrading atm but I have a dilema.

I have 2800barton (oc'd to 2.3ghz)
1gb pc2700
9800pro

I'm planning to enter the 64bit arena however if I go pci-e I'd need to buy a new gfx card so gfx card mobo cpu and ram wud come to about £500. If I go with an agp mobo I won't need a new gfx card straight away. But agp is getting phased out and I'll only need to upgrade in the near future anyway. Still it will cost around £250.

I can afford either way I just don't want to spend my easy earned cash :P

Wow, that seems like it would heat up pretty easily. If you don't keep it cool, it may even start to make your room insanely hot. It could raise your room temp to AT LEAST 74 degrees. Better make sure to get some type of cooling system in it.

I've asked a few people already, but I guess it won't hurt asking again: Is Windows XP 64 worth it at this point? Issues with drivers seems to get brought up a lot.

That's a great looking monitor, by the way.

I'm installing it to try it out to see what the big deal is. I'm pretty sure at somepoint, I'm going to revert back to WinXP 32.

Oh!! I think I also broke my toe on my monitor!! When I was putting it together I dropped the base on my big toe.
