I knew these were coming and expected to only see 1920x1080 for resolution and then I see this under both

I wouldn't really call these HDR. IPS (without full array LED backlighting) doesn't have the contrast ratio to show a good general HDR image.

Of course, the same reservation applies to some cheap "HDR" TVs.

I don't think these displays will get bright enough to properly display HDR. I know most TVs need to hit 1K nit of brightness to be considered good HDR TVs.

I can't stand 4k at 27 inches. I returned mine and bought a 4k, 49 inch, HDR, IPS TV instead. Sony X800D I think. The only sacrifice is cash and response time but you get used to it easy.

Thats funny i returned that tv cause it had a horrible interface and ugly colors. Also 49 inch was way to big

I looked at the 27" model. It's 24.1 inches wide according to the specs. Subtract a bit for borders (estimated based on the photos) and you get 23.6. The pixel pitch for that one is specified as 0.3114.

That's the tech specs I was referring to.

A display input can accept 4k 60hz without being a 4k panel. Thats What I was trying to explain.

Isn't 4K just 1080p times 4? So a 4K native screen can also be a 1080p native screen if 4 pixels act as one? Or do I have that all wrong.

Normally dell ultrasharps are amazing in quality

TV does indeed look ugly out of the box, but rtings recommended settings made it look much better. Don't much care about the interface since I use it primarily as a PC monitor and I never even use the smart features. It's a nice bonus though. As for the size, I essentially use it as 4 x 24 inch 1080p monitors with the option of using it as a full screen 4k when I wanna kick back and play a game full screen with a controller or something.

That was my first thought too. Probably just a typo in the specs, maybe it means it can handle a 4K signal. But that wouldn't help anyone anyway.

Why does it have VGA and it seems only one port is HDMI 2.0. If you intend to connect multiple newer devices, this doesn't seem like a good monitor.

OMG. I need review now.

My 2408WFP has lived an an incredibly long life.

But when I turn it on there's like 30 vertical lines going down the right side of the screen.

After about 20 minutes it goes away. But in the last year. One cyan coloured line remains.

It'd be pretty good to upgrade to 4k and HDR.

I think the description in the Overview section pretty much confirms it's a 1080p panel as Durante said:
