New Driveclub gameplay

Ah, you mustn't have Clearwire. This is below 3rd world country tier internet. I'm having hard times loading those clips posted before.

So you want to stream HQ videos with your internet but not view GIFs that are smaller in size? Sorry this is hard on you, but you should see this coming in any thread that is about gameplay footage.

Perhaps it can be my PC and internet, I'm not really sure. The clips are working now, they just took a minute to load up. GIFs are usually just a laggy mess for me for one of those reasons.

So there's no car tuning in this right? I'm happy if that's the case as I could care less about that stuff. I just want to jump in a badass car and race. I'm starting to lean toward this over FH2. Really want to hear some impressions of the final game first though before I move my pre-order credit from FH2 over to DC.

Also curious about loading times for DC as the FH2 loading screens and all the other un-skippable bullshit videos and after race info videos in the demo really pissed me off. I like racing games where I can just jump in and out of races quickly and can skip through all the after-race mumbo-jumbo.

Nope no tuning at all.

Loading times are always 10 seconds or less, and restarts are instant.

I believe Rushy (dev on DC) said the loading times all came under 10 seconds. They have been quite fast in the preview/streams.

I'm kind of disappointed that there is no car tuning at all. Just some sliders with some generalised suspension options would be nice, doesn't have to be realistic.

But, it looks like this will be the racing game for PS4 for the immediate future, so I guess I'll just have to live with it if I do get a current gen console lol.

Under 10 second loads? That's what I'm talking about. And no tuning confirmed. This is making my decision much easier to make. FH2 tries to hide their long-ass loads behind un-skippable videos and career info dumps and I just wasn't digging it.

What's up with the going off track 3,2,1 countdowns that I see in some videos and not in others? Can you turn it off or do you have to go way off-road for it to pop-up?
