Lol, that's one of the worst modeled creatures I've ever seen in a game. Looks hideous.

Hopefully they're animated well.
 
Why do minotaurs always have good abs in games? I guess they must get up and do sit-ups every morning before feeding on human flesh and guarding their respective labrynths.
 
I'm far from a modeling expert, but I think it looks cool. Is it technically flawed? What don't you like about it?

Probably because it's not pink or purple wtih some Japanese Anime influence.

I personally hate it due to the lack of overly-expressive, three foot diameter eyes.

:lol Come on, man. It looks like an ape with a bull mask on. And what's with the lack of fur?
 
The graphics are gorgeous, just like this Cathedral's architecture. But that monster design is just butt-ugly. I don't know if that's the right word for it, but that Minotaur looks clumsy.
 
It's not even coming out for current "128-bit" consoles.

Bethesda generally has nice concept art and in-game architecture, just with awful character models/character textures. Oh well. Probably won't change.

Anyhow, first the lizard now minotaur. Cant say I'm much interested in this game anymore. Its got major EQ2 crappiness all over it. I fear alot these next gen games are going to look like this.

The model just looks too disproportionate.

The legs and head are too big, and the upper body (from a color and proportion perspective) doesn't look fitting at all with that of a minotaur. Looks more like a giant bodybuilder with a minotaur head strapped on.

Otherwise, the game keeps looking very nice.
 
Minotaur is supposed to have a bull's head and a man's body.

This looks like a gorilla in a novelty Halloween mask. A gorilla with gigantic thighs.
 
the minotaur looks really, really ugly (the guy who is doing the modelling and texturing should be fired).

Ram, imo a Minotaur is supposed to have a cowface...If you google after ancient minotaur drawings you'll find pictures almost similar to the Morrowind model.
 
Looks nice.I'm just hoping it isn't a bug-ridden mess when it comes out and that the Xenon version has Live support so people on the console side don't get shafted on patches/fixes, because you just know this game will be broken when its released since its Bethesda.

youre right, but this is not mythology - it is fantasy and a minotaur should be looking angry and evil. not just like a stupid cow head on a human body.

If it's fantasy then it should be whatever the hell the designers want it to be.

But as long as games like Half-Life2 and WoW keep coming out which looks miles and miles better than any other game without using normal mapping and selling by the shitloads, I'll be one happy camper :)

Normal mapping is the worst thing ever invented for gaming. Give me clean sharp textures onto a nicely modeled (and rich polycount wise) model anyday. Bump mapping is good, when used in the right way. Excessive bump mapping (like normal mapping) makes baby Jezus cry
