It's not. There are loads of people who believe in an Intelligent Designer or any variation of such that says that God was behind evolution. It's not a matter of all or nothing.
They can challenge and fail. If they're wrong they're wrong. Plain and simple.
Seriously what would be considered "unbiasd" also why one aren't you giving him too much power with one what's stopping him being "biased""Unbiased hearing officer", huh? Yeah I bet.
Why not just make it so that any Tom, Dick, or Harry can create an accredited "school" for their bullshit instead of wasting multiple people's time and money.
I'll never understand why it's always evolution or creationism. Why can't it be both? What would've prevented God (or your deity of choice) from starting out small and building up via evolution?
Evolution isn't really compatible with the concept of Original Sin, and without Original Sin mainstream Christianity falls apart because it is at the core of it and Jesus' sacrifice is meaningless without it.
It's only a theoryI'd like to challenge the concept of gravity, please.
Editor, The News Leader:
Recently I have received echoes down this way of the Hanover County School Board's activities, and what I've heard makes me wonder if any of its members can read.
Surely it is plain to the simplest intelligence that "To Kill a Mockingbird" spells out in words of seldom more than two syllables a code of honor and conduct, Christian in its ethic, that is the heritage of all Southerners. To hear that the novel is "immoral" has made me count the years between now and 1984, for I have yet to come across a better example of doublethink.
I feel, however, that the problem is one of illiteracy, not Marxism. Therefore I enclose a small contribution to the Beadle Bumble Fund that I hope will be used to enroll the Hanover County School Board in any first grade of its choice.

Well they'll have trouble ignoring global warming when Florida starts disappearing under the waves.
While you are right they will use this hearing officer to enforce dogma and find ways to further push religious agendaThey can challenge and fail. If they're wrong they're wrong. Plain and simple.
That's not what I was taught... Maybe Adam was the only one guilty, but all humans carry the sin. Or it wouldn't even make sense to have an exception for Mary, "conceived without sin" so that she could carry Jesus.for a Catholic Original sin caused man to become man but only Adam was guilty.
Introduce the flying spaghetti monster in schools!I'd like to challenge the concept of gravity, please.
No. Republicans weaponize ignorance and use it to keep their voters. Most of them don't believe this crap. The other problem is young people don't give a fuck and dont vote.It has come down to: republicans want to destroy the world. It's probably true.
Or: republicans are way less intelligent. It's one of the two.
One affidavit from a Collier County resident complained that evolution and global warming were taught as reality.

Isn't this the same party that constantly fearmongers over sharia law? Sound like they are doing their own version.
So... does this law even mention how you determine if someone is actually "unbiased" or not (as in, what factors/guidelines they're supposed to use in making that decision)? Cause I'm gonna go ahead and guess they left that part out for some reason...
Also, fuck Rick Scott and fuck the GOP.
Isn't this the same party that constantly fearmongers over sharia law? Sound like they are doing their own version.
The GOP is doing its very best to ensure that the constituents remain ignorant and uninformed.
I'm not sure if it's only Florida, or only the Republican parts of America, but sth. about these kinds of news definitely makes it seem like many Americans are incredibly stupid :/

Trump's favorite people.
The bit about removal of library books reminds me of the best thing written by Harper Lee. Her response to a school board banning To Kill a Mockingbird
So by "unbiased" I'd hope they mean they will require evidence and experimental repeatability to come with every claim.
