Awesome, this movie is going to rock!!! I'm glad that after the lackluster first and second films that the movie series is evolving into something much more special.

What happened to Ron? :lol

As Hermoine grows cuter, Ron innversely becomes more ass-ugly, and so the universe remains in balance.

yeah, I kind of wish his eye was bigger, about 3X bigger

That's how I kind of imagined it...Also imagined there wasnt anything holding it there, just a gaping orifice in his head from which he plucked it from so it looked really disurbing.

In the books, Moody's eye is described as a normal eye, but I can see why they went with the patch thing. Other than making it made out of glass, a normal eye can't really be seen as magic, can it? The patch allows it to be distinguished and worked better cinematically.

Despite sleeping in and accomplishing nothing this morning, this made my day. Fantastic trailer.

The eye isn't what i think is wrong. I agree that doing the eye like they have was the only real way to make the eye a distinguishable feature in the movie. But Moody himself looks to young and not nearly beat up enough.

thats what i noticed too. Its pretty hard to describe how I imagined him, it was a bit like a tramp with a massive natural eye bulging out of him.

Anyone else think they're just completely dropping the Veela aspect from the movie? I think that'd be for the best anyways.

I don't think you could conclude that from any of the trailers.

More like a combo of the trailers and the screenshots. There's very little emphasis on Fleur being exceptional in any way. She looks like all the other students. And Ron's 'take' on her would be great trailer material as well.

Veela switch 'it' on when they feel like it. Remeber back to the Quidditch world cup, when the Veela became angry, they "didn't look remotely beautiful'. Fleur turns it on and off.

Ugh, what's with the horrible synthesizer music occupying 95% of the trailer? It's great at the end, they played John Williams' Harry Potter theme but PLEASE do not tell me thats the music his replacement has done on this film.

Hrm, I much preferred the other trailer (the one with the dramatic new music -- not the one on Apple.com that starts off with a montage of the kids in the other three films). This feels less like a trailer and more a "This is the first half of the film condensed to two minutes", if you know what I mean.

But the movie is looking really, really good. Lots of cool scenes look very promising (Moody's Unforgiveable Curse lesson, Harry and Ron's row, all three Tasks...). I'm even willing to live with the not-quite-what-I-expected Moody because I'm confident they'll get it right in the end.

(For the record: Every time I think of Moody, I think of a grizzled, scarred, messier version of Jasper from The Simpsons)

Fantastic trailer.

Harry Potter movies (3rd one especially, I wasn't the biggest fan of the first two) make me sad that I'm not a kid. I can only imagine how much kids must love those movies.

Wonder if that first screen is Voldemort reborn or just when he's a gross baby thing. I still can't imagine Ralph Fiennes playing him!

Cedric feels all wrong. It should be the guy who plays Viktor as Cedric and the guy who plays Cedric as Crum. The guy right now as Cedric is as ugly and ruff around the edges as the books made me believe Viktor was. The other guy who's playing Viktor has a much clean and softer face, as good looking as I believe Cedric was. ( :D ). Argh, Viktor and Cedric are all wrong.. :-(

Fixed...Don't ask me where the hell Greggory came from. I'm saying things..maybe I'm just hungry...

Cedric Diggory looks fine for me, personally. I'll agree that it isn't handsome enough and it seems that they took the plain part of his personality and applied it to him.

Krum might not be rough enough around the edges, but he is just rough enough to make it work. Girls chase after him looking for his autograph, so he has to be somewhat handsome, but he also has to be a little rough...and I think it works.

I think Fleur should be hotter, Krum should be a little rougher and Diggory perhaps prettier...but none of them are poor, in my book,.

I always saw him as a more scarred Cid Highwind from FF VII.. :|

SPOILER-ish

I've heard Gary Oldman's performance in the film is limited to the fireplace scene seen in the trailer. That kind of sucks.

Well at least there is no way they can par down his role for the 5th movie

I started out with these movies as just laughing at them, with the coolest part of the first two being that chess game.

Then the third one I actually openly looked forward to renting.

This one, it seems, will be seen in the theaters, cuz these stories keep getting better.

Holy shit that looks good. Really well done trailer. Please, please, please bring on this movie. I want this more than Corpse Bride right now, and that's really saying something...

Is that last shot posted supposed to be rita skeeter? I"m trying to think of who it could be but I"m drawing blanks here. Also I'd have to agree this isn't a good trailer has far as trailers go, it tells you far too much. I still enjoyed watching it though.

Sniff...so beautiful. My only reservations are the dragon looked a bit small, that glimpse of Rita Skeeter (I think it was her) seemed totally off from what I imagined, and Fleur's actress, while undoubtedly very pretty, is supposed to be completely stunning. Small things though.

ONE last chance to top that book JK! Come on!

Well, this movie, kind of like the trailers for Lord of the Rings, seems to assume you've read the books. they know their main audience is people who know what's goign to happen and it's proably more effective to show them what they want to see.

While I agree #3 is the best, after watching the first movie again, i just cant see why peopledon't like it. Sure it wasnt as dark as #3, but the book wasn't as dark as the third book, the atmosphere was perfect for the book, and the first movie is the most true to the book.

The problems I have with the first film are entirely Chris Columbus' mediocrity as a director. It is such a by-the-numbers film in terms of direction that it just doesn't resonate like the third film.

That said, I enjoy it. It is a fun storyline, the world is well designed and it is really quite a charming film...it's just not great filmmaking.

Yeah, i'm looking forward for that movie.

But the "Order of Phoenix" is not what i'm looking forward to cuz the 5th installment book sucks so much dung!!!

And i can't wait for "Half-Blood Prince".
Especailly at the ending of the book what Professor Snape did. Man, i never felt so much hate toward that pompous b*****d!!!

Man...the guy doing Order better do a damn good job, and they better hire someone good for Half-Blood Prince. One of them is too long and winded and the other one is about a freakin' book.
