This looks like it will be a really good game, but the 360 version is obviously just a minor upgrade.. probably not worth the 10 dollars extra. i will get a current gen version if the reviews are sweet.
 
considering this is a game developed for this generation it looks fine to me.

Did anybody think this was going to be an impressive 360 title? I mean, we all saw shots of it months ago and it didn't look that distinguished from current gen then.

Can we stop acting surprised now?
 
If the game is released at $50 than it's definitely the version to get. I wouldn't pay a $10 premium for a higher resolution and a few minor upgrades, but if the price was the same, I'd buy the 360 version for sure.

Yeah you can tell this was made with the PS2 in mind, then ported up to Xbox360. The game still sounds great, even if the 360 graphics aren't.

I sure as hell don't see any. Even the much-maligned Tomb Raider 360 pics show more of an improvement over the current-gen version than this or Tony Hawk.

And I'm just the lazy bastard who run GA (the site, not the forum), on my work lunch breaks/downtime. And for the non-oldtimers- Sam Kennedy, myself and Greg Sewart started GA in '97. :)

The forum has sucked me in again after taking a couple of years off. Damn next-generation.

My first post since the start of the show, and I have to say that bish's banstick has been the highlight of X05 to this point. The culling is necessary. PEACE.

yes, ps2 version @ gc 2005. in my opinion GUN will rock. its like gta in the wild west with the nerversoft bonus :) and surprisingly, the ps2 version was running smooth back then.
 
$10 for a few more virtual feet of draw distance and the ability to read the names on the gravestones.

It's like giving someone a Ferrari to test on a track and they cruise around it at 20mph.
 
I don't think I'd even consider this if it came out for $50 for Xbox 360.

Why should I when there are many Xbox 360 games I want and look far better than this?

Should have stayed on XBOX and just made it playable on the 360. Lazy port garbage, I hope average Joe doesn't get suckered into buying this thinking it is "Next-Gen". This and Tony Hawk need to be placed in a bag set on fire and left on Activision's doorstep.

Definitely agree. For a current-gen game of this size, the graphics don't turn me off from buying the game in any way.
