Glad to see some areas outside of the city. I'm keeping my eye on this one, but I imagine by the time it is out that I'll be fully engaged in Enemy Territory: Quake Wars and won't want to play a different FPS.
the most recent video of this online (not really sure when it was filmed) was soooooo unbelievably early its a wonder its being shown at all. this game has been in developement for a while now already, i hope that isnt an indication of its development, as the screens look quite nice IMO

Overall it's UT2K4 with bumpmapping, nothing more, nothing spectacular.
UT2K7 destroys this IMO... but UT2K7 ain't a MMOFPS.
Going from Planetside to this is really going to be OMGFAP-worthy.

I'll be the first person to pimp UT2K4 over plenty of games, but honestly, the two aren't technically in the same hemisphere.
And to whoever thinks precision shooting hasn't been done in an MMO before: Planetside and Neocron. I doubt it'll be particularly laggy, bandwidth wise, the big killer would be performance drop with tons of characters.

Oh make no bones about it, Planetside sucks balls, but to say precision aiming hasn't been done before is incorrect.
Personally I think the game looks like shit compared to others on the UE3 engine ie: UT2007 & GOW

Yeah, this isn't in the same scope as UT2K4, and as someone who's played a LOT of UT2K4, it still looks better by a good margin.

It's not amazing but I'm still impressed because of the amount of players that will be on screen at one time (100 I think). It should be a really fun game if they can get the gameplay balance right for that many players.
