Posted today for the first time, but it seems like deja vu revisited for me:

Q: What would you say Xbox 360 is all about?

A: We have this proposition and a challenge that we have as a team. What is Xbox 360 all about? It's not about building a bad-ass, hardcore gaming console. It's about creating living entertainment experiences powered by humanity. We want to bring the collective human energy of the people that are participating in this medium together. And who knows what they're going to do with it?

O K :)

im assuming websites will hold off posting E3 interviews with high profile people so long because they want everyone else to post their interviews before them so theirs will get more hits?

dope. stoned. yep, the high-life :) :lol

The interview regarding the 360 in Edge had me gagging. Why do these machines need to be padded by ridiculous hyperbole and bullshit marketing spins. How about someone just comes out and says "You can play some fucking games on them. You may or may not enjoy that."

I really dont dig this whole "its all about culture and bringing together people who would not normally play video games" aspect.

Is it too much to ask for them to just concentrate on the games ?

It amazes me that sites like that get any time with J at E3 in the first place. If people like FOX NEWS and other US TV Networks can make do with just Senior PR Reps for their interviews and soundbytes then I am sure those same PR folk could also answer SHIT QUESTIONS like "what is Xbox 360 all about?" on mainstream news sites like these. J's schedule should be arranged so he can spend more time with people who deserve it.

I like Allard. He's been high on the hyperbole lately, but that's cool IMO. Kutaragi's the same way. It's a better read than his early interviews which were kinda technical. At least, the first interview I read of his was him explaining the bw in the Xbox, and how it affected the GPU. I liked him better then, but this is more entertaining. And if you're gonna be the front man of a wannabe vg empire, then you gotta talk big like it too. He's at least showing some big ideas. PEACE.

Not when there is potentially more money to be made.

Yeah, wearing a suit jacket over a fucking hooded sweatshirt is awesome...

Yes but you'll be able to design better clothes for J. Allard in Tony Hawk and then sell them to him through Xbox Live! Start your virtual T-shirt design business right there! Fuckin' Aye!

They didn't even get his fucking catchphrase right. It's Living Entertainment Experiences Powered by Human Energy™, not humanity.
