I've liked the look of Kameo for the most part. I think that lots of the screens that have been released of the game looks great, but this batch really is fucking ugly IMO. The last 3 screens look really nice, but the others are just awful, the environments look very bland and sparse. I'm not too phased though, as I said most of the other screens that have been released look very nice...

Ho btw, I've just been told that the TGS version of Kameo did not have all the graphical features activated/implemented yet. If true (and it's a very trustworth source), then I can't wait to see it at X05

I really got interested in Kameo after watching the gamespot video but im still going to wait for the reviews before i make my decision on whether or not i am going to pick this up at the launch.

Yeah, the lighting and detail is quite striking on Major Ruin there. The blurry, obviously perfect-flat floor and jagginess seen on the edges of the crate, spikes, and shadows are disconcertingly present. I'm certain it's not finished, with regard to the final image quality there... The camera is close enough to the floor to expose the lack of geometric complexity, and breaks the illusion of the normal mapped texture by being too close, viewing across its face.

Still, pretty awesome in motion, as evidenced in all of those high-res videos from TGS. Kameo is becoming my most-wanted launch title very quickly...
