I don't think he will.
I agree completely. Everybody should do themselves a favor and get down to your local gamestop or ebgames, walk over to the gamecube kiosk and watch the new Killer 7 trailer. It looks absolutely gorgeous and it seems like you actually control your character as he/she runs around the world. Also, while you're at it, play DK: JB.olimario said:Have you seen it in motion? Also, have you even seen the game in action man? It looks great and runs smooth. How it plays, I am not so sure.
One thing that really has me excited is the story. It really could be something new and fresh. Also, it uses anime scenes along with in-game cutscenes so that should be interesting as well. If the game is so horribly unplayable though, I still don't think I could look past that.Speevy said:I think the style is interesting enough that if I knew how it played, I could get over how it looks.
Ah forget it. You hate Okami, Killer 7, Lumines. What UNIQUE games do you like?Prine said:ITs another Okami

demon said:I just watched the new trailer (the newest at IGN, at least) and I'm sorry, but I am not impressed with the visuals. Pardon me for pointing this out to you all, but not EVERY game that a) uses cel-shaded graphics and b) is on the Gamecube is automatically visually impressive. It looks rather uninspired visually to me, save perhaps a couple moments. And I'm someone who thinks Wind Waker and Viewtiful Joe are beautiful games, so don't pull that card on me.
If it were cleaner, had more interesting animation and - yes - were more consistently stylish throughout, then maybe I'd be impressed.
And the funny thing is, I remember being impressed with the game when it was first unveiled. What happened?

This is true -- I just watched some of IGN's videos based on the thread. I don't want to sound like an apologist, but this really is one of those games that can't be done justice in screenshots.Guns N' Poops said:Both. It looks much, much smoother in motion. It's the bad capturing.
Sure. In fact, I'd say some games actually look better in stills.SonicMegaDrive said:Sigh. Wait until you see it in motion, people. Do stills do any game justice?

I have and I think it looks worse in motion. The shadowing is terribly done and ruins the look, along with the inconsistant detailing of models. The animation is jerky, too. I have to assume that none of you have played Interstate 76, because that's how it should be done. Either make everything minimalist, or nothing.SonicMegaDrive said:Sigh. I get the feeling the only reason you people keep saying "watch it in motion" is because the last trailer had a bunch of non-game sparkle bullshit that made you think you were playing a show on MTV. Oh, and because they say "fuck" a few times.
