Puppies are cute, but I am more of a cat person. However, this game is looking too enticing to pass up. I am trying my damndest to get this thing presold at work. Most people scoff at it with the whole "gigapet" thing, except for those times there is enough time to pop the DVD in the new nintendo power in and show people just what it looks like. After that, even the haters want this game.

I really hope this takes off. It would be nice to see a very sweet, unthreatening game take off in sales for once.

I haven't been able to own a dog since my siberian husky I had as a kid. We had too give him away when we moved though. :{

the only differences is what dogs you can start out with the rest you play and unlock.
