I don't mean to alarm you but you have dogs on your face
It's kind of a double punchline I think......one, they mistook the monkey for some slow-ass sloth, and two, they were actually stupid enough to think hopping on the back of some animal would save them from a volcanic eruption.

:lol Finally, an online comic strip Einstein would appreciate. I really like this one, and I give a resounding 'meh' to most PBF.

Well i think it was more of a double entendre, as in "snails are slow, but that one snail is really slow!" Add to that the fact that sloths are slow-moving animals.

:lol Once I realized that "monkey" was really a sloth and noticed that the branch caught on fire it was all funny times from there.

Took me a little bit to figure out that it was a sloth, but :lol at this. Not the funniest ever, but it did make me smile.

Only smart people like us get this... :lol
Heh, I didn't mean Einstein would like it because you have to be smart to get it, only that it resembles his famous analogy for relativity.

Those are the same punchline. The second layer is that half of those who read this strip aren't getting it right off, punctuating the "slow" theme. Brilliant, I say! ;)

This is just a case of it going over people's heads. This one is absolutely hilarious on multiple levels.

Hang out with Steve.
Cute :)

Seems like some people here have been waiting to pounce on a strip that wasn't utterly brilliant, so that they could point out that PBF isn't the end-all, be-all of web comicdom, and call any who enjoyed today's strip "apologists". I think that's funnier than this strip AND the new Penny Arcade combined.

$50/hour, but no kissing on the lips and colors must be pre-separated

It's amusing, although certainly far from his best. Oh, and don't sloths use penial secretions to help them stick to trees or am I thinking of another animal?

No, not really. I got it right off. It's not bad, it's just not really that great to me. Not as bad as last week's by any stretch, but still not one of their best.

Damn it took some of you that long to get it? Do you even 'get' toilet humour? Please do us a favour: never critique a comic ever again.
