New PSP Screen Protector Film

Thought you guys might want to see something I randomly came across last week at Macworld San Francisco. On the final day of the show, Power Support (www.powersupportusa.com) had a PlayStation Portable on display with a new screen protector, part of the company's "Film" line of protective products. You can see a series of shots here:

Having used a number of the company's products, I think they do a great job across the board on protectiveness, and obviously don't obscure your enjoyment of a screen in any way. My only very minor reservation on this would be the apparent lack of control and joystick coverage, which is probably for practical reasons, but they've implemented (less application-critical) protection for all iPod controls in their 3D Wheel Film.

If you stopped typing after you put up the link I wouldn't have to ask this: What are your benefits and when did you get hired?

Uhhh, all the reviews I've read say the screen is virtually unscratchable anyway. One said that they tried steel wool and it didn't leave any marks. Is this not the case?

:lol

Surely you're joking.

Let's just say that it's very, very simple to get minor hairline scratches on the PSP's screen.

i think you'd have a hard time finding a surface that doesn't scratch the psp screen. microfiber cloth isn't it. neither is the lining of the value pack case. :/

on the other hand, the scratches are only visible under very bright light and at certain angles. they're not something you'll notice while you play.

Just looking at your PSP will scratch it. Steel wool? Sheesh.
