A little too cutesy for my taste, but it is UFO goodness!

From the makers of LAZER SQUAD too....

this looks f*cking HOT HOT HOT.

I just hope we still have opp. fire and the like - not sure about that though , as there seems to be aliens and humans visible on one screen where you'd expect them to be hidden. That whole system made Lazer Squad so awesome.

Nemesis is the mail based game right? looked cool, but not too keen on the premise...

I told the other half about Lazer Squad tonight, and she's wigging out , desperate to try it.
ST emulator time!

Or better yet, Amiga emu time. For the original experience, though, nothing beats the Speccy rev.

Amiga? PAH! the ST was soooo much more superior !

(i had both, i didn't care!)

I didn't realise there was a speccy Lazer Squad though , i've been emu'ing the C64 version.

Don't you love Amiga's art?

Man, I wish that retro-euro art style could make a comeback. The colors, the fonts... nostalgia is the cruelest bitch =(

Amiga version LaserSquad was far and above all others just because of the awesome opening music.

That said, whatever the platform - it's an amazing game (I first played the C64 version myself) - especially for teamplay (you needed 2 or more people on each team, so when they have to leave the room for the opponent's turn they can plot their next move without getting bored :D).

Yeah, tense FX followed by a robotic voice saying 'Laser Squad.'

Hehe. We just used to make the other guy face away from the TV when it wasn't his turn, and if he complained that it was taking too long, he got told to fuck off. Good times :)

Laser Squad was the fucking tits. I used to load one of my boys up with bazooka rounds, and my opening gambit was the blow a fucking giant hole in Sterner Regnix's compound. Then I could see all little fucking robots from outside and snipe them before moving in to finish off Sterner.

No hiding in a toilet for you, Regnix. Out you come.
