I think Reggie pretty much confirmed that it will be.Gaia Theory said:I hope Nintendo has done enough waffling on Mario 128 to realize that it should be a Revolution launch title.
I can't wait for Iwata's keynote, it's going to be good!

God seriously, I don't think I'm going to be able to get over tomorrow at all. Crazy, crazy day.IAmtheFMan said:Man, tomorrow's kinda like geek heaven for me. This stuff from Nintendo including the rumored Zelda trailer, plus the Star Wars EP:3 trailer...

Totally non-Nintendo like......but I approve
The US version may omit a couple of puppy breeds that are popular in Japan but not in the States, but even with the exclusions the stateside edition will contain a larger line-up of dogs when it's completed later this year.

I thought this would happen and it may be good idea, infact they maybe might even get out release down to two copies instead of three. The third version in Japan is full of breeds that don't really seem popular here at all, outside of the Poodle. So I kind of anticipated this.Smiles and Cries said:Noooooooooooooo!

However that would put the Corgi in a bad spot. Whatever they do, don't let the Corgi go.![]()
Oh interesting, I hadn't read the impresisons yet, sounds great. Perhaps we'll see a Golden Retriever this time around as well. Awesome, thanks.Smiles and Cries said:I don't think they will drop down to 2 copies

The puppies in Nintendogs will never grow up but they can be retired in favor of other dogs to train. As many as three dogs can be active in a player's cartridge, but players will have to note that dogs will behave specifically with others - some puppies may not get along with others, for example.

^ I think thats cool
Speevy said:I think it's pretty obvious that Mario 128 is for Gamecube, and I'll tell you why. If Nintendo shows in-game footage of a title that looks like a beautiful Gamecube game, they'll be laughed off the stage. (unless of course it's CG)
vitaflo said:Eh? I think it's fairly obvious it's a Revolution title, and that they'll use it to showcase Rev at E3. Anything less would be a huge dissapointment. I doubt they'll half ass this one.

:lolStinkles said:The inside scoop is that the breeds wouldn't give Nintendo the licenses because Nintendo wanted full damage modeling on the Pug and the Shiba Ainu.
Speevy said:So what? Even though Shigeru Miyamoto himself was disappointed with Super Mario Sunshine and it didn't utilize the Cube hardware, we're going to screw you guys and get it right with the next generation?

I have to agree. Once Zelda is released, Gamecube ends up like Xbox is now. Releases that interest you and that you'll buy, but nothing truly mind blowing. I'd say Sony is already there too.vitaflo said:Apparently, and I don't really see anything wrong with that. If they can only show video footage at this point and not a playable demo, there's no reason to put it on GC. Video footage at E3 = no release before xmas '05 = release in '06 = may as well make it for Revolution. The GC is done once Zelda ships.
