jman2050 said:This is a DS game. It was already said that some areas would use prerendered backdrops instead of tiled areas like in most of the action screens we've seen.
CoM is the DS game. SD4 is the PS2 game.
Bluemercury said:I already know that, but the difference in some of the shots is ridiculous, in one shot it looks like the snes version and in the others it looks like psx one....

That may be prerendered, but it looks beautiful.
Gaia Theory said:I don't see anything that could be defined as pre-rendered in those screenshots.
I see 2d tiled sprites for most of the dungeon layouts and field areas and I see hand-drawn backgrounds for the town scenes and other special areas.
Hand-drawn backdrops do not equal pre-rendered backdrops. Two completely different techniques.
JoshuaJSlone said:Does that first picture have the first we've seen of the second screen? Looks like the touch screen is displaying weapons that can be assigned to buttons... but there are two sets of identical weapons? Possibly for different characters, but then it wouldn't make sense to have nothing displaying that, or to have an X button for one character and A for another.
