It turned out to be a 12-month Game Pass redemption code, and it really is a holy product to defeat the enemy.
Here is the new fluffier higher quality blanket with new character compared to the Regular "red" edition blanket,
Size comparison for scale,
So there you have it, 3 custom editions of the Wo Long: Fallen Dynasty from the Xbox partnership. Actually 4,
- Xbox Series X reg console with two T-shirts, badges, with 6/month Game pass card inside of scroll,
- The Xbox Series S version which had a custom console and controller with a box with badges and 1 t-short and 6/month Game pass card,
- The PC Xbox Game Pass regular bundle with red highlights and coloring, a weaker blanket with one character from the game, a red custom controller and sword hilt, with badges, 1 t-shirt, and 6/month Game pass card on a scroll.
- Then Finally this newer "Silver Edition" which comes with 1 t-shirt, boxes with green highlights and coloring, a fluffier blanket with a different character, badges, a scroll with a 12/month Game pass card on it, and a Silver custom controller with sword hilt.
This is one of, if not the hardest Xbox has ever went all-in on involving a partnership related to custom consoles, controllers, and perk giveaways. They really are pushing Wo Long very hard.
I'm curious if the results will be favorable after all this effort when we get the inevitable sales results (outside of Japan) and that we see the game as a success. If not, Xbox may have over invested quite a bit on this release.
One thing I've noticed is that in all these unboxing reveals for Wo long, we never actually see photos of the T-shirt. That slight view in the last image is the closest we have ever gotten from live footage that's not a promo photoshop.
