Man I'll say it, I like Sandopolis. In fact, Act 2 is one of the most cleverly designed Sonic stages of all-time.

I don't have much of an issue with Act 2, length aside. I do like how the design almost kind of counts on the player panicking and making mistakes.Man I'll say it, I like Sandopolis. In fact, Act 2 is one of the most cleverly designed Sonic stages of all-time.

There's a "Wanted" poster of the 3 characters from Sonic the Fighters (Fang, Bean and Bark):
Yeah, that's my only real issue with the level. It just takes so long. The first time I beat act 2 I only had like 20 or 30 seconds to spare before the time ran out. fun times.
Act 1 is just boring as all hell, though. Even the gimmicks are kinda (No pun intended) dry.

19, 65, 09, 17 all emerald quest please
No hard copy release means I just can't get on board. Such a wasted opportunity with the physical collector's edition that includes a code.
You forgot that you have to press Start right after that, and then Start and A in the Main Menu. Then 04, 01, 02 and 06 and there you have it.
I used to hate it because I always died there as a kid but I adore that stage now!Man I'll say it, I like Sandopolis. In fact, Act 2 is one of the most cleverly designed Sonic stages of all-time.
Sonic CD levels confirmed.
Please for the love of God, no Wacky Workbench
Please, please,PLEASE
All the classic levels are doing is taking the aesthetic, music and level gimmicks are making brand new levels out of them. Wacky Workbench can keep its amazing US music and have equally great level design to match!
I think it's just a matter of Nintendo not allowing devs to announce all their games yet. That's the only explanation for no devs coming out and announcing their games after the Switch reveal. They announced the 3D one is oming a while back, but I think that's just a matter of Nintendo giving Sega permission to announce that one game. In any case I'm positive this game will be announced for Switch at the big blowout in January.I'm surprised they haven't announced it for Switch yet. Surely it's coming to Switch...
Not true. Green Hill Zone borrows whole chunks of the original wholesale. And Chris is a Sonic CD fan.All the classic levels are doing is taking the aesthetic, music and level gimmicks and making brand new levels out of them. Another possibility is the team not being able to handle that many versions of the game at the same time.I think it's just a matter of Nintendo not allowing devs to announce all their games yet. Whatever CD stage they choose, I have a feeling the track will be a us/jp remix.

It's not a cancelled Sonic CD stage. It's a cancelled stage from Chris Whitehead's port of Sonic CD that he completely made up based on rumors that Sonic CD was planned to have a desert stage based entirely on the fact that this image has a couple of cacti in it: http://info.sonicretro.org/images/a/a5/LittlePlanet.png
A fun one, tho
Nice of Sega to do this with a fan project.

A fan of Sonic CD's aesthetic and vibe, not so much the level maps - S3K is my fav in that dept.
You mean EU/JP? The people working on this are huge fuckin' Sonic nerds so I imagine they'll do JP for one act, US for another. If we're lucky.
A poor video in that respect. Scanlines don't play well on YouTube and they didn't even bother uploading at 60fps. Disappointing.
A closer look at Knuck's walk animation

Nah, I meant a US vs JP remix. But one for each act would work just fine.
Oh boy I'd be really into that, if Tee Lopes could make it work.

Guys if we get Stardust Speedway this could be the greatest game ever made
Fix'd. There's a reason why it's the most popular level in Sonic CD...
The music for Mirage Saloon doesn't really suit the atmosphere and theme of that stage. Sounds too jazzy and casino-like. Shouldn't it sound more... desert-y?
