This episode is pretty poor, but Cartman had me laughing once, and I'm not even sure why.

I didn't laugh once. I hope there are some better episodes than this this season.

I agree. This was one of the worst episodes that I can remember. I laughed at the jewfin thing because it was just entirely out of nowhere and the delivery was superb, but the episode itself wasn't funny. It was just fucked up.

Hate to say it, but I agree. I loved the last season, and this one did not start off that well. But a "bad" South Park is still better than 90% of everything else on Comedy Central. :)

That's not at all fair, we all know that 90% of everything else on Comedy Central is MadTV.

And bad standup. And if it's the weekend, bad 80s pseudo-comedies.

I found the episode (almost) hilarious, but overall, not very good.

I laughed alot (just because aloth of the moments were "out there"), but if the episode came on again I'd probably just turn it off. Not a good start.

Chappelles show is 100% better than anything else on Comedy Central.

I thought this episode was absolutely hysterical, most episodes just tell one main story, this was like three genius eps in one.

I was hoping that for their last season that they would go out with a bang, hopefully they don't just phone it in.

Pass. Wasn't really worth watching. Although I just got Season 5 on DVD, excellent episodes. Not a bad one in the bunch. Season 8 had a few bad episodes too along with some really good episodes. Didn't really get into Seasons 6 and 7 to make judgements on them.

The premiere of South Park is eclipsed by next Tuesday's start of Season 4 of The Shield.

The South Park episode I hated the most was the one with the Jacovasaurs. Would you rate this one as being even worse?

I would rate this one as much worse, although I didn't hate the Jacovasaurus episode. I think the worst SP episodes are the ones where they try too hard to blatantly tie the episode into some current hot news topic, and the ones where they go strictly for shock/gross-out/bizarreness value (although the last xmas episoe was awesome).

Nothing is annoying as the Jackoffasaur episode. Though I do think the Ben Affleck/Jennifer Lopez taco one is the worst ever.

In these cases I enjoyed the french dub I saw on Teletoon even more. But for everything else South Park related I watch it in english of course.

I found the Jackoffasuars themselves annoying, but the episode as a whole I didn't find nearly as annoying as the extreme gross-out episodes.

Well you are getting no taco flavored kisses cholo!

If they wanted me to not watch the episode, mission accomplished. Great value for your buck you idiot sponsors, I turned it off without watching a single commercial.

Well I just watched it. I skipped the first few minutes cuz I just cant look at shit like that. other than that it wasnt too bad. I do hope they raise the bar with the rest of the season though.

Jakovasaur, where the boys find that near extinct creature that reproduces at an alarming rate.

Yeah it was kind of annoying. Though that was the point since everyone in South Park thought they were annoying too. Except Cartman of course.

No one has mentioned the fact that they showed footage of an actual sex change at the beginning? Jesus, I almost threw up.

The episode itself was okay. I liked the concept in an off-the-wall sorta way but there weren't too many actual laughs.

Also, while we're on the subject of South Park, has anyone seen those two episodes of "Princess" they did for shockwave.com a few years back? Recently, I saw a show on Trio detailing the whole situation. Apparently, Shockwave gave them free reign to do whatever they wanted. Since it would be airing on the internet, Trey and Matt figured that meant that they could go completely X-rated. Needless to say, the Shockwave people were none too pleased with the results. The shows themselves never aired on shockwave.com. They're available on the net now but I would highly recommend not watching at work or within the vicinity of anyone sensitive to the idea of animated porn.

I thought the scene of Mr. Garrison in the ladies room was great. And later, where he flashes his new ugly tits and when he's standing in the doorway of the stadium in his new chick pose yelling.....that's classic south park if you ask me.

As for the Jackovasaur, yeah he was annoying. But the real problem was that the episode just wasn't funny.

The JLo/Affleck episode was terrific. The woodland Critter Christmas I thought was marginal at best. You could see that ending coming a million miles away.

Last night's South Park was hilarious. And how can anyone hate the Jakovasaurs episode?

"DOOOOOOOOOWOOOOOOOOOOOOP!"

"Fine just fine."
"Just fine."
"Fine."

So, no one's heard of "Princess". I know people generally ignore my posts but everyone should really seek it out. The episodes themselves are only like 5 minutes a piece so it's not like you have to invest a ton of time. They're worth seeing just to see the South Park animator's blowjob renderings.

On the Trio show, Trey and Matt said their ultimate goal was to have little kids walking around with Princess t-shirts completely oblivious to the true intent of the character.

I thought it was hilarious. What got me most of the time was the animation of "Ms" Garrison :lol

Anywho, the worst episode of South Park is easily that Russel Crowe episode.

Wasn't too bad, I laughed in a few places, grossed out in other, but hey, that's South Park through and through :)

I thought the second half of last season was pretty shit tbh.

No way....that's probably my favorite along with the Lord of the Ring parody.

IMO, the worst are the Pip episode, the flashback episode in season 2 and the Christmas videos

Just watched it today and can't say I really enjoyed it. There were a few funny parts but way too much of it was just gross-out 'comedy' and the last thing I ever want in my entertainment is footage of a fucking sex change operation. Blech.

Besides that though, did anyone else think the animation seemed different? There were some bits that seemed a lot more detailed and animated than usual, and the settings seemed more fleshed out in terms of depth. I dunno, maybe I'm imagining things, but I kept finding myself distracted by the technical aspects of the animation.

Yeah, as of now they're planning to stop after 10 seasons. So we've got the rest of this season and one more.

Jakovasaur was kind of annoying but that was the point. Season 3 was probably the weakest season of South Park in my opinion. Maybe two or three really funny episodes. The rest were just kind of there.

Oh yeah, forgot to mention that my all time worst episode of south park award has to go to Terrence and Philip Behind the Blow.

Was there an episode where Asses of Fire was shown? I thought Not Without My Anus was hilarious. Didn't see if Asses of Fire 2 was an episode.

Red Badge of Gayness is the worst episode.

Blasphemy.

After Kyle got told by the coach that Jews can't play basketball, where he had his head up against the wall and wasn't saying anything....
