What classic 90s properties are we hoping for? I hear rumors of Brenden and Rachael coming back for The Mummy. We got more Matrix than we wanted.

Isn't this like the 4th time they've announced they're doing a new Spawn movie? Hopefully they've moved beyond the version where he was just going to be some background entity that barely appears in his own movie. =P

Folks might want to remember how things have gone for the Hellboy franchise before getting excited about this one. Spawn is very much of its time, and I don't see a modern take on the character being particularly faithful.

It's not like it has a high bar to clear. That og movie was pretty bad even back then. They hired a martial artist instead of an actor. Martin Sheen clearly doesn't give a fuck. Then you have that 90's CGI that's aged like milk. THe HBO mini-series was pretty dope though.

Those tweets have vanished. I'm pretty sure they were from official sources so I wonder what's going on. I'm unable to find any new news.
A Spawn film seems like such a nobrainer that I can't imagine whats the hold up.
I'm watching a netflix movie called Rebel Ridge with a lead that would be a PERFECT Simmons (or, quite frankly, a perfectly suitable replacement for Kang or T'challa in the MCU so I'll never understand why those roles live or die based on the actor). This project needs to get going!

I'm kind of having a a hard time seeing Jamie Foxx as Spawn. Keith David as a voice actor in the animated movie was perfect.
I'm talking this guy, not Jamie Foxx, who I agree has missed the boat with this role.
