Linear? From what we've seen of Until Dawn (all 3 seconds of it) it doesn't appear to be on rails.
If this game is a separate entity to 'Until Dawn' then awesome.
Shu did just retweet an IGN article about The Last of Us.
I am confused a bit. "Until Dawn" is supposed to be that flashlight move game, correct?
I as well hope this is something bigger then that.
Besides wasn't flashlight move game being developed by one of UK studios?
TLOU is trademarked by SCEA.
Well, it has never been said that Until Dawn was the flashlight game. That was a connection I made and put out on the webs by our very own TTP. Twas rumoured to be a Studio Cambridge game.
Until Dawn was latered rumored to be a SCEA game.
I wonder where all these fucking games are being made. Santa Monica seems to be overseeing more or less every PS3 game out next year:
Sorcery
StarHawk
PlayStation Battle Opera
Journey
Twisted Metal
Rumoured GOW IV
Madness. And they are "only" 200 people. not 500
They've also got a couple more PSN games under-wraps by the looks of things. No release frames on a couple of them though, like Giant Sparrow's game 'The Unfinished Swan'.

yup and and Papa & Yo. Must be amazing to be working for SSM.
?
That was very well known for years now. They shifted their "headquarter" from Foster City to Santa Monica. Santa Monica is now "SCEA's gaming headquarter". They're overseeing everything now.
Yep Well, they are overseeing everthing and they are pretty big right now.Whoever took over John Hight's position as director of product development at Santa Monica Studios must have a massive job on their hands.
Of course, but its really uncommon for one studio to have a hand in so many games coming out in one year. The place must be abuzz with awesome sauce.
Year of Sony Santa Monica.
it's interesting that no one is noticing this actually (talking about gaming media). They are still known as GOW studio and that's itWhoever took over John Hight's position as director of product development at Santa Monica Studios must have a massive job on their hands.

I seem to remember a farming simulator releasing quite near the top of one of the EU countries charts at some point. It got a good chuckle out of me. Might have been France.
Wasn't there some train simulator or something equally boring that also sold fairly well in.. Germany, I think? :lol
The anti-Move crowd are an odd bunch, I haven't got one yet, don't know if I will but the double consensus seems to be that:
a) Move sucks and Sony better not make any decent games Move only
b) I'll only get a Move if it has any decent Move exclusive games!
So Which one is it and how can Sony possible win with the Move?
I wouldn't mind this being a high production values Move exclusive survival horror/adventure game.
Sony game is exclusive? Bullshit.
I know. Last I checked, Sony went third party!
Sony's actions doesn't matter. Fanboy trolls always will complain.
Most of the ones who complain about being (possibly) a zombie game would be happy if it was a 360 exclusive L4D4 (or a Wii/3DS exclusive big RE).
And most of the ones who complain about being (possibly) a Move game would be happy if it was a Kinect (or Wii/3DS) game.
Plants vs zombies?
Bullshit, L4D came at the front of the Zombie revival and wasn't just using it as an excuses for piss poor AI, and acting like hardcore gamers who own 360 love Kinect while hating other waggle shit is nothing but building straw-men (as well as wholly wrong).
Well, Kinect and Move are rather different peripherals, so you are wrong as well.
Well I meant the SSM developed plants vs zombies 2 which features the god of agriculture and zombies as clearly hinted at with the teaser trailer and ant video...Already out on all platforms. http://www.popcap.com/

The Move itself works very well, it's that damn camera which is the problem.
I don't think its the camera, I posted a link in another thread about some eyewriter software some people are working on which allows people with ALS to write on a computer using motion cameras that record their eye and eyelid movement. The camera they used was the PlayStation eye camera, they said they chose it because it was the cheapest high end motion camera. (of course this is pre kinect and the kinect camera works probably better for the same use but it shows that the playstation camera is no slouch)
Finally a sequel.
Beware The Ants: An In Depth Theory About Sony's New Exclusive "The Last Of Us"
Some crazy idea on what the game might be, interesting read, and it may not be a zombie game at all.
