cinematic honkong action-martial arts movie like story telling aspects (that shenmue had in a certain degree) in addtion to obvious max payne core gameplay mechanics. that's why i said "it has shenmue feeling too" instead of saying "it looks like shenmue".Gremmie4 said:Could you explain how that has a Shenmue vibe too it? That video reminds me more of Max Payne or some crappy action movie than Shenmue.

Looks like Max Payne 2 (xbox) with too much bloom lighting and stiff animation.
eshwaaz said:One personal pet peeve I noticed is that the muzzle flashes look like they're attached to the ends of the guns - if the gun moves while they're being fired, the flame moves with it.
phonte said:that's exactly what i thought.
looks like it's straight out of this gen.
Goreomedy said:Eh? Even in the game's slow motion, muzzle flash doesn't hang around long enough to occupy space. I think what you're seeing(like when Fat is rolling on the ground with muzzle flashes 'following'), is just repeated flashes on top of one another.
And I just wanted to mention how impressed I am with the character models in this game. They are spot on.
phonte said:is this another ported up game?
because this just looks bad.
