New weapon confirmed in RE4 PS2!

funny how nfans say people shouldn't get RE4 on PS2 cause graphics are shit...then they think they're getting RE5 on Revolution, and probably with weaker graphics if it ever materializes

Winners can only win by owning all three systems. Then you are a winning winner. Otherwise, you are poor/biased.
i know. that's just a gaf phrase. and i do have a ps2 + xbox so i'm fine kthx.

So while PS2-only owners will finally get a chance to check out RE4: The Definitive Version, GC-only owners will be playing Game of the Year: Twilight Princess. Seems like a somewhat fair trade, though the PS2-only users get sorta fucked because they only get the runner-up and not GotY.

I had the chance to play it... but after seeing the NGC Lineup this year it was a better idea to sell everything, play RE4 when it comes out on the PS2 and use the money for repairs on my car.

Plus I had a huge backlog of PS2/XBOX games I have to get through.

You're such a fuckwit. You've never had an intention of ever playing the GCN version to begin with.

Actually I did play it, just played about an hours worth, that same day I gave the game back to my friend and got 300$ Cash for all my NGC stuff which went to a better cause!

Seems a bit premature to award Game-of-the-Year to TP.

If you're wondering if there's a subsitute for Zelda on the PS2 this year, there is Okami...

Except Okami is 2006.

Resident Evil 4 GCN has some very PS2-esque graphics, without many of the PS2's apparent limitations.

Just like Splinter Cell Chaos Theory Xbox has some very PC-esque graphics, without the resolution and with many of the Xbox's limitations.

If you're a fan of Resident Evil, buy 12 copies of every version for every system. If you just want to declare your stance against Nintendo, you can't really make the Cube any deader than it already is.

huh...ps2 version of re4 is looking remarkably good. but for the dual shock button prompts, i wouldn't be able to tell that trailer apart from the gc version. i don't think i like the game enough to buy it again, though.

Anyone who's ever bought two versions of one game knows the difference between the versions. There's no "I can't tell the difference." among series fanatics. I remember such things during the SNES/Genny days with Mortal Kombat 2.

There is no substitute for Zelda. Never was, and still isn't. But if you can't play it, and you want something to take your mind off of it:

Shadow of the Colossus!
