The Great American Bash comes out on August 23.

Summerslam on September 20

The Self Destruction of The Ultimate Warrior on September 27.

Wrestlemania 1-21 Box Set on November 1st as well as four smaller sets. 1-5, 6-10, 11-15, and 16-20.

WWE Legends: Jake "The Snake" Roberts on November 15

In December, The History of the WWF/E Title and Best of Kurt Angle

Screwed: The Bret Hart Story on January 19

I'd be excited about that Wrestlemania box set (only $299!) if I didn't know that they're just going to edit the damn thing to holy hell.

They are actually gonna release all of the WrestleManias on DVDs!

If they do.. and only really blur the logo.. though I can also see changing all reference to Federation which would suck...

But that would be the ultimate x-mas gift for me...

And the Best of Kurt Angle? That is gonna be a rather long disc....

:lol They should release this in a box set with the Warrior DVD. :lol

It has to be said that if this DVD had the WWE fully owning up to screwing Bret, and Vince apologizing for it, it would without question pave the way for Bret to make a return to WWE in some capacity, be it the much talked about DVD, a one off appearance, or perhaps several. Hell, I wouldn't be surprised if Bret was hired as a trainer for up and coming wrestlers. But that's getting way ahead of ourselves...we'll have to find out if this DVD is WWE giving into Bret, or if it's just another slap in the face of the greatest wrestler in the history of the universe.

There is your Best of BRet that you were asking about....

No, everyting WWE has said about that DVD is that it is only about the screwjob and maybe some bonus matches. The Best of Bret is something totally different.

The Bret DVD has a RRP of $34.95 which is the same price as the Benoit/Eddie/Shawn DVD's they brought out lately so there should be some of his "best matches" on there,

Apparently Screwed: The Bret Hart Story is actually the three disc set and not about Montreal. Dont make much sense but then again a title like Self Destructiuon of The Ultimate Warrior doesnt make much sense either.

To go along with this the Four Horsemen set is still in the works plus a Best of Starcade DVD

Woo!

Any news on whether they're going to release some of the other big PPVs from the past (RR, Survivor Series, etc)?

I remember having Summerslam 89 "Feel The Heat" on VHS as a Christmas gift and I must've watched it at least 5 times on Christmas day alone... there were some great matches on there:

The Rockers & Tito Santana Vs Rick Martel & The Rougeau Brothers

Ted Dibiase Vs Superfly Jimmy Snukka

Hacksaw Jim Duggan & Demolition Vs Akeem, Big Boss Man & Andre the Giant

Hart Foundation Vs The Brainbusters

Warrior Vs Ravishing Rick Rude

Hogan & Brutus the Barber Vs Zeus and Macho Man

Hm...best of Kurt Angle. Now you're talkin'.

Sweet, I have been waiting on this DVD for awhile.
And WWE must have changed their mind about Screwed, because originally it was going to be a DVD based on the "true story" behind Montreal. But why name a best of DVD set Screwed? I mean, that incident didn't define Bret's career or anything. Not in my opinion anyway.

I'm wondering if they're gonna ask Earl Ebner to do some commentaries about the screwjob on the DVD. How strange, just when old Ebner gets kicked out, Bret Hart comes back in!

I wish WWE would release old seasons of wrestling on DVD. Start from the first episodes of Saturday Night Main Event and Tuesday Night Titan and continue all the way through the present day RAW and Smackdown seasons. Release all the PPVs as well.

Maybe they should wait until Blu-Ray and HD-DVD come out, though, so they don't have to manufacture so many discs. :lol

Sorry to double post but....

Bret Hart's DVD The Best There Is, Was, and Ever Will Be, from WWE Home Video will contain the following:

-- Clips of Hart in Stampede
-- Hart vs. Tiger Mask in New Japan from 1982
-- Hart Foundation skits
-- Team Canada skits from 1997
-- Hart vs. Davey Boy Smith at Wembley Stadium in 1992
-- Hart vs. Austin at Wrestlemania 1997
-- Hart vs. Michaels at Wrestlemania 1996
-- Hart vs. Henning at Summerslam 1991
-- Hart vs. Benoit in WCW 1999
-- Hart vs. Steamboat in Boston, 1986
-- Hart vs. Savage at Saturday Night's Main Event, 1987
-- Hart vs. DiBiase at a house show in Odessa, TX, 1989
-- Hart vs. Andre in Milan in 1989
-- Hart Foundation vs. The Rockers at Saturday Night's Main Event in 1990
-- Hart Foundation vs. Road Warriors in 1991
-- Hart vs. Ric Flair for the WWE Title in October 1992
-- Hart vs. Yokozuna at Mania 1993
-- Hart vs. Bigelow in Barcelona 1993
-- Hart vs. Owen at Mania 1994
-- Hart vs. Yokozuna at Mania 1994
-- Hart vs. Waltman from July 1, 1994 RAW
-- Hart vs. Owen in White Plains from September 29, 1994 (his favorite match vs. his brother)
-- Hart vs. Hakushi from RAW July 24, 1995 RAW
-- Hart vs. Isaac Yankem from Summerslam 1995
-- Hart vs. Smith PPV match from 1995
-- Hart Foundation vs. Team USA from Canadian Stampede 1997
-- Hart vs. Undertaker in the UK on PPV in 1997
-- Hart vs. Goldberg at Starrcade 1999

That Hart DVD sounds fantastic. Instant purchase for me

I know it's unlikely but I would like to see them acknowledge the Survivor Series 97 thing. Maybe not show the whole match but interviews with Hart/McMahon and everyone else involved in it would have been very interesting, IMO

Damnit, I was hoping the Hart/Michaels ladder match would be included...now the myth that Michaels/Razor had the first WWE ladder match at Wrestlemania X will live on forever!!

Nice selection of matches though...we'll finally be able to see the match where Bret won his first world title. Also the match with 123 Kid on Raw was a stellar contest...got that one on my hard drive. Also good to see the Taker match from the UK PPV in '97, one he's always raved about but the WWE removed from the video release for some reason.

There's still more Bret matches I'd like to see...the Diesel match at Survivor Series in '95 where he won the title for the third time, along with the Austin match at Survivor series '96 which was every bit as good as the Mania bout (though a lot more technical). Thankfully I've got that one on video already, so that's not a big loss. I'd also like to see the match with Benoit from the WCW Mayhem PPV where he won his first WCW world title (and I was there!). And the Bret/Owen Summerslam cage match was intense as hell (again, got this on the hard drive). I like the variety though...I think it says a lot about Bret to include matches with guys like Yankem or Hakushi who you don't exactly consider big WWE names (well Yankem I guess is now being Kane :lol).

I'm surprised the Michaels vs. Hart match for the IC title from the Survivor Series isn't included. I mean Bret actually won that one and it was a great match as well.
