NEW ZERUDA PICS

Hell, I wasn't that excited about this before; but I love everything about these screenshots.
 
Does anyone think that Nintendo will put this game on revolution as well as Gamecube. It would be the perfect game to give Nintendo the boost they need.

Aonuma did say in the Edge interview that he really admires RE4, but damn, this is great style. And it still has a few months to go so I'm not to worried about ground texture.

This game is really confusing. There are some really good parts, and some really fucking blurry textures. More good than bad...but I'd still prefer a WW style game.

As in every great game, MGS3, RE4, GOW, etc, etc. None of those had close to the LOZ's size & scope however. 'Tis beautiful, imagine the next iteration of Zelda on the Revolution.

No. Twilight Princess is coming out well before the Revolution.
 
Amazing. That's all there is to say. I'm really glad this has found some cool art and isn't just a drab generic fantasy game like some earlier shots made it look like. Not that I had any doubt a new Zelda would be great.
 
Hmm.. looks great, but I really dont see the departure in art style over classic Nintendo fair.. the colour palette is the same, and the the models are very similar to OOT.

These pictures just keep getting better and better. I just cant for this game any longer, its just looking too good. My love in Nintendo has come back:)

i think they should definitely add "hooks" that can be unlocked by playing the GC Zelda on the revolution, i.e. a secret dungeon with improved graphics, or cool items
 
This game looks more and more gorgeous every time screenshots are released.

Yeah, some of the ground textures are crap, but I'm sure they'll clean up a bit before being shipped. Even so, I'll gladly take above average graphics combined with exceptional art direction over exceptional graphics and above average art direction any day.

I love the boomerang-whirlwind-of-leaves image. Special move?

It runs in 480p, that's all that matters. Nintendo just took a page out of MS's book.

I really can't believe this is running on the GC though but then again RE4 proved everyone wrong, can't wait to see REV in a few hours.

Not to single you out Silver Surfer, but I cannot believe people are still saying this regarding the GC's visual abilities. Did RL, (a launch game) show no one the system's future capabilities? I know the system quite well, & if more developers were willing to dig into the platform's architecture, (as they were w/the PS2) there would've been much more than RE4 & this to make people's jaws agape. Let's also not forget MP, FF:CC, F-Zero GX, SFA, RS3, etc. I'm beginning to believe this could top OOT's 3.5 million NA sales numbers. EAD R&D1 has returned to prominence in a major way.
 
Nice new screens, it's good to see new environments this time. I got tired of all the Epona and Taoru Village screenshots.

BTW, this is #1 on my wanted list. I don't even know what my #2 is, nothing even compares.
 
I am disappointed in GAF! 16 new pics, and only 3 pages so far! On any other day this thread would be 23 pages long already!
 
Wow! The lighting and modelling is superb.

Shame about the ground textures. They would look terrible on a first gen N64 game.
 
Oh My God. Ocarina of Time is my favorite game of all time. I can tell by those screens that this new Zelda will BLOW OoT completely out of the water.

No shit. OoT is still my favorite game of all-time. This however, looks to be everything OoT was and much more (unlike MM and TWW, which were restricted in their own ways). A nice storyline would help too. This thing looks absolutely gorgeous.

Art style is pretty good, but it's not that impressive on a technical level. I really look forward to see how well it animated, hopefully that's one aspect of Wind Waker that will stick with this game.
 
Halo 3 on PS3's launch..

Zelda on X360 HAHAHA.. MS is screwed.. people will buy Zelda and PS3s leaving halo and X360 doing 360's wondering whats going on LMAO I'M FUKIN HILARIOUS

Worse, apparently. Shellshock from the bomb Sony dropped a few hours earlier. Good god, judging by that Revolution pic and some of the info that has leaked out, the hotel that Microsoft is basing at in L.A. will be nothing but a smouldering crater by tomorrow evening. And I was picking them to "win" this E3!

haven't seen the conference but according to some people I speak with. The lack of applause + cheers was VERY INDICATIVE.

If winning the press is half the battle. I think they need to give away more plasmas.

Just had nothing to show apart from a SE demo.
They'd shot their load last week, and the Sony Conference pissed all over them. If nintendo do what i expect later and Punk you all, M$ will have been sandwiched in a welcome to our world style

I'm guessing no new Perfect Dark stuff eh? I skimmed through the thread, and saw there was just a small clip of it at the end of the presentation.

MS needs one really big launch title. Maybe they can squeeze it out of Rare, or maybe they'll get Bungie to finish it off. :P

Even if Sony vid were BS, they did the job of killing M$ outright and taking the hype outta there steamtrain. Nintendo now NEED to finish the job.

I think that there was a bit on PD0 but it didnt help the conference. The only thing that interested me was gears of war, which looks incredible at the moment. Nintendo are lucky because MS had such a piss conference. Nintendo are already having a better E3 because of the Zelda pics.
