Asura's Wrath ;DGawd I envy all these chinese game developers, they are so skilled at what they do and they are straight up making games based out of their rich culture and mythology. Why aren't we getting anything on Indian mythology, so much potential is there in Indian folktale and mythology![]()
*tsk*
September it is then.

TRANSLATION but not perfect thoughI think is first quarter of the next year.
If this game is for this year I will soo happy as children in a candy store, Hidetaka Miyazaki is my favorite game designer, so see aTRANSLATION but not perfect though

It should be noted that 100% utilization is a pipe dream. The only devs who have a chance of coming close are Sony's first-party at the end of next gen. They'll know the ins and outs of the system and with help of the custom parts (IO, scrubbers, coherence engines), that'll be their goal.It doesn't need to downclock the CPU in this case because it is at 70% load, it only needs to shift unused power to GPU. The CPU or GPU on PS5 will only downclock if both are at a 100% power utilization to avoid overheat and fan noise. This will happen "if that game comes" as per Cerny. Thus, the GPU and CPU will " stay at or colse to their peak frequency most of the time"
Remember that hardware is only one part. You also need an efficient files system to take advantage of IO. Sony doesn't have to worry about compatibility so they can just use a new system for the internal SSD. Microsoft has to maintain BC, that's why they need VA.I read somewhere that the controller on the Xbox has to choose one chip over the other while the PS5s can access them all at one due to each one having its own channel.
Teams UI... [shrug]Microsoft isn't really good creating UI in any of their products I'm happy that's the new UI.
Now just imagine that X1 specs are the base specs for xCloud for many coming years... I think we'll soon have a situation when mobile hardware surpasses the streaming hardware from Microsoft, which makes the whole streaming project totally obsolete from a technological point of view.Did anyone else see that the Xbox One can't even run Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1/2 remake at a consistent 1080p? Had to use dynamic res w/ average of 900p. For a PS1 game remaster.
No wonder Halo looked rough, the developers are fucked for having to make games run on that system.
I don't think this is releasing this year. I,think it means it was rated on August 13, 2020 in South Korea. If this game is for this year I will soo happy as a children in a candy store, Hidetaka Miyazaki is my favorite game designer, so see a
remake of the first Souls from most talent studio in that field will be incredible.
Yes me neither that is why I think is for the first quarter of 2021.I don't think this is releasing this year. I,think it means it was rated on August 13, 2020 in South Korea.
But is PC.Here I see a game for the next generation of consoles. This is not some ultra PC settings and other BS.
That's why I won't buy a discless console because then I'm stuck with the publisher's policy for older games. I prefer to choose based on market-regulated prices. Even if PS5 DE is $100 less, that'll even out in less than a year provided I buy one game a month. Digital is for people who don't buy many games and aren't generally interested in following industry trends. The other group is people who don't care about prices.I wonder if the additional multiplayer push Sony's making on many of their games will also mean those games won't drop in price quite as fast as their titles have in the past. Early physical buyers will have less reason to sell off their copy if there's additional content in the pipeline. I'm not thinking they're gonna go full Nintendo where their prices never drop, but maybe we'll see their titles retain their full price for a few more months than they historically have? Maybe that's the tradeoff of having top notch single player content with desirable multiplayer content without microtransactions released later.
I remember a guy on Era with a teory that every dev on this segment had at least some exclusivity tie with PlayStation or something like that. Even Mediatonic was there and they have just released Fall Guys.

I think they are just being cautious, also they don't have to reveal the release date just yet so they chill a bit. That's not true. At least not all of them. I'm from one of those companies and I was really surprised when I saw my work colleague there. I think it was spontaneous thing.
If I recall correctly there was a rumor that DS is a launch title. I was dissapointed that they didn't said that during announcement. Maybe they are being cautious because the release isn't 100% sure (it can slip by a month or two)? Or this is there way of marketing - they announce it with other launch games?
Wrong fucking STICKS DAMN U
Is Son Goku basically the monkey king?I hope so bad this comes to PS5. I love the Monkey King. I watch almost any movie he's in, even that corny Netflix series. Loved him in the 7 Knights mobile game. I took photos posing with the statue at Genting Highlands in Malaysia. Sun Wukong is just OG dope. But I also like the mischievous Wukong, who's always causing trouble. This video comes off as fairly serious monkey, but I'll wait to see more. Visuals look amazing.
I believe that is exactly what happened, friendomundo!- When's Sony gonna reveal the existence of the PS5 Pro that's 72 CU's in a butterfly config with a 1.65 TB SSD, and 24 GB of RAM?Sure it'll cost $700, but I'll buy it damnit! The only reason I still have a Pro in mind is because it was hinted at by that Japanese reported a while back. Then again maybe he was unknowingly referring to the digital/disc versions and thought it meant a Pro existed?
I believe that is exactly what happened, friendomundo!

and in this gen it was kinda pointless coz the data gets copied to the HDD anyway.Yup, while a concern for me I think my issue with physical games is far easier to figure out. I'm a lazy fucker. I have no interest or patience in getting up to swap discs everytime I want to play a new title or keep track of wherever I put that disc. The convenience of digital FAR outweighs any monetary savings I might get.
Now if the put a 100 disc changer in the PS5 then maybe we could talk?![]()
yeah, Shadow of the Colossus remake was January release back in 2018. Demon's Souls could be January or February 2021.I think is first quarter of the next year.
I look at it as the Xbox Series X holiday launch lineup:Share button, and now this.
Maybe this is also why Sony is keeping PS5 features secret until last minute, to not give Microsoft the time to copy paste everything.

But you are limited to sales thrown at you by Sony, that's what I wrote. I was just thinking about buying Death Stranding, it's 20 EUR. How long would I need to wait for it to reach that price at PS Store, another year? Not really. I have almost 100 PS4 games and all are digital. Haven't bought a physical game since PS3. I rarely ever have to pay full price. Some of those I paid less than $5 for. So many games are on sale or low priced on PS4 store. And of course my PS Plus games are digital too.
Physical games are just too easily stolen or broken, where as all my digital games are always ready for me to re-download, even if my PS4 is stolen or dies. Its all linked to my account, unlike discs. And I can play all my games without changing discs, etc. No clutter, and physical games don't even come with cool manuals anymore like old games did.
The full game is not even on the disc anymore. Patches make physical games pointless. Digital is the future. My PS4 Pro is still virgin, no disc has even entered.
My feeling is that COViD is having an impact on delivery timescales and that's why Sony are holding back on launch title announcements - they just can't be sure they'll hit the deadlines they had tentatively planned toward the end of 2019.
If we consider what they showed in June - GT7 probably had the most gameplay shown of anything, followed by R&C, but there was no date and not even a year for those.
Meanwhile SM:MM has shown only a few seconds of "cinematic" gameplay but that is announced already for this year/launch.
So what can we make of that?
While I wouldn't let the hype build, I am hopeful that an additional game or 2 will be announced as launch window if not launch day - could be demons souls but we didn't see gameplay yet ... but I could certainly see GT7 or even R&C making it just because of the amount of gameplay they showed running on PS5.
On PS5 Smartshift is only a small part of the system. It will give more power to the GPU each times the CPU is unused. It won't adjust the clocks of either of them and won't reduce the performance of the CPU.To counter confusion
The concept of Amd Smartshift is as follows:
A Control Unit measures workloads. Based on the workloads, Smartshift decides to shift energy between Cpu and Gpu. When this happens the frequencies of the Cpu/Gpu go down. But not to much. In total, more transistors are used more often without using more energy and getting more performance.
This year two devices will get Amd Smartshift. The PS5 and a laptop from Dell. Amd claims up to 14% more performance in games on the laptop (they still have to prove it). We'll have to wait and see how much this will be for the PS5.
Besides, Amd Smartshift is free. Free not in the sense of dollars but in the sense that it doesn't take up (very little) space on the device, as well as an automatic process that is done by the system, so that no software developer has to worry about this process.
Only problem. It must be implemented in advance, i.e. when the device is developed, because it is implemented deep in the system.
Also in assync compute i guess since the ace blocks run %20 faster?
Well I got Death Stranding for $40, fair price for a great game. Recomend it. I played it for over 100 hours, well worth it.But you are limited to sales thrown at you by Sony, that's what I wrote. I feel sorry for you that there's a chance someone will break into your house and steal your games.
Of course it's more convenient to be all digital, that's why I buy multiplayer games that way. But SP games that I know I'll play once? If I sell them after a month, it's 10-15 EUR loss per game, quite an incentive to do that and have most money for the next one.
Of course there's a chance the pandemic will cause supply chain problems at the end of the year and I'll have to go digital for most of the launch line up. But I don't want to think about that right now...
I really hope that the gamescom list is not 100% complete. How in the name of God could Sony miss this opportunity????? Halo Infinite got delayed and they should've made a fuss by now about their console LOL
100 hours is exactly why I haven't touched it. I'll be stuck with one game for 2 months. But right now with no big hitters coming until the launch, I think it's the time.Well I got Death Stranding for $40, fair price for a great game. Recomend it. I played it for over 100 hours, well worth it.
Obviously, I'm glad you can enjoy games the way you like and respect that.
I have no issue paying developers for quality. Games are cheaper in real dollars than ever. I also replay games all the time, I don't ever need to sell games. No point really.
I just saw that digital media was the future in 2013 and hopped on early. Netflix and smartphones will kill off physical games. Software sales are already 50% digital or more, and kids will not want to buy discs. More games will copy fortnite and be only digital.
This next-gen will be the last gen with phyiscal games. PC gaming and mobile gaming, movies and music, its all going digital only rapidly.

That's a good point. But then I'll ask: if it cuts costs for producers, why do they want me to pay 20% more for a digital game? Make it 20% less and I'll seriously consider. I'm all for ecology when it's true, not just a marketing slogan.Lastly, having the games in digital form means less pollution (printing useless plastic and transport costs), cutting out middle men between devs/publishers and consumer and freeing up a ton of space at home. Space is a very expensive resource, especially for those living in big cities.
The only open world game that I actually loved. 100 hours? Have no idea, each hour was a pleasure.100 hours is exactly why I haven't touched it. I'll be stuck with one game for 2 months. But right now with no big hitters coming until the launch, I think it's the time.
From your perspective games might be cheaper than ever because you pay in dollars. Since 2013, dollar went 25% up in exchange ratio for us in the EU. It means our consoles and games are that much more expensive. And now the pandemic has cut the economy down. I won't complain but a lot of people have to look for savings, just the reality.

Well its all really expensive haha. Sony will have to buy lots of very fast NAND and then build lots of custom silicon around it. Its likely that Sony is buying less dense, but muhc faster, chips of NAND than Microsoft bought for their console.
Yepp, Sony has 25% less size, which is another reason why together with the IMHO slower NAND chips I think that Sonys solution is way cheaper than XBox, despite the insane performance.I imagine both are buying the lowest density and slowest NAND they can to hit their speeds. Sony sacrificed some overall drive size (825 vs 1000) and added channels and PCIe lanes to hit their goal.
