In the past MS / Sony have done deals asking for parity across all platforms. So the lowest common denominator could be what we get

Honestly I don't think that was ever proven, lots of rumours tho but most if not all started by extreme fanboys who felt their favourite piece of plastic should have had the better looking version.

These days those comments have now been replaced with "lazy devs"

I recall Blackflag launched with the same Res on both the Xbone and PS4, and had marketing with Xbox, but the game got updated not long after with a higher Res on PS4. Either this was parity, or Ubisoft was late getting final PS4 devkits, you decide which.

I think this was the most egregious case of apparent parity, though their may be more?

You're right.

And also COD Ghosts got a patch for higher res on PS4. This game also had a deal with MS.

Happens to me more often then I like to admit...
except not in highest difficulty...

Honestly, it took me like 40 minutes there in Give me God of War difficulty. I play once so I usually aim for the highest difficulty possible. Man, that was a nasty one.

Somewhat funny, that many same people worked on Dirt5, Codemaster Chechire are basically Evolution studio. Well Rushy is not with them, at least. So yeah...

It's about Sony Quality Control though, sharing assets between studios and other divisions like Sony Pictures and Sony Music. The same guys who made the BS Crackdown 3 made the new Sackboy game.

This is why accessibility is important, we can't all have the 'Dex of Bo'.

GOW starts too hard then it gets easier the more you progress.

Progression and unlocks are all server based. Even solo.

At least Warframe is free.

Wasnt too imterested (but 20% chance i would have gotten it), but now its not. Hope Demon Souls isnt like that...otherwise its a no go for me... Xbox One all over again. Cant stand playing a single player game only to have a momentary internet blip kick me to the home screen....nope, not havent it.
 
if you look at miles himself you can tell there's also sharp reflections on the red bits on his shoulders. This could be done with cubemaps but they look so sharp im leaning towards RT

I'm just happy there's reflection there at all. On the OG Spider-Man, you'd look at the reflection of the building you're hanging off of and it didn't mirror what was behind you.
