I don't care what side of the fence you're on, all I know is what I've seen thus far has not convinced me that I need to run out and buy a new console on launch day. For all of the special features and stupid Internet related crap these things are going to do, I don't want a PS3 more than I wanted a PS2. Granted this could change once Koei shows Dynasty Warriors PS3; but for the most part - the impetus to upgrade my current kit is not there. Even then, I expect my general reaction to be - "Wow!" but not run out and buy it on day one.
Microsoft dropped the ball with the Xbox2 reveal. I was never planning on purchasing one, but as a loyal Sony whore; I was almost legitimately scared they would have something to show to back up all of their sound and fury. Turns out it was a bunch of choppy crap.
The Playstation 3 seemingly plans on delivering what I was expecting of next generation, but am still unwilling to believe could be possible.
Still - on-line play? Got it. Movies? Got a whole bunch of DVD's thanks. HD? Fukkin' eat me!
Tell me I'm not the only bastard here more interested in playing PSU than buying a PS3.
