Yes, it clear to see when looking at Moba's other forums that registration is high bar to clear. I literally just set an account up in less than 2 mins using a burner email account. Funny how Moba says their core values match but the Moba forums are filled with alt-right topics and posts. With ResetEra.com, M.O.B.A. Network gets a strong, global community brand and access to a very active discussion forum with over 45 million forum posts and about 55,000 members. The discussion topics on ResetEra.com are broad and cover all kinds of games and platforms such as consoles, PC, and mobile games, which expands the M.O.B.A. Network's position in the gaming industry. ResetEra.com's core values are "inclusivity and diversity," and the community sets high demands for approving membership. The core values and the high membership requirements are also essential to M.O.B.A. Network.
Yes, they will remain the same. Until Bjorn pays out the last $1M.The operational team that runs ResetEra will continue to moderate and engage with the community and work with M.O.B.A. Network on future product development.
"We are very excited and proud to welcome ResetEra.com - one of the world's largest gaming forum and community brands - to our growing number of brands," said Björn Mannerqvist, CEO of M.O.B.A. Network. "ResetEra.com has great growth potential, and we see significant opportunities to develop ResetEra.com, continue to grow traffic flows, improve the sales development and extract synergies within the M.O.B.A. Group."
"ResetEra.com is another step in our strategy to grow through acquisitions and create more relevant communities with attractive, growing target groups that many companies want to expose themselves to," said Björn Mannerqvist.
The K Jack dude literally used the classic "my (white) friends don't mind" argument as well. Absolutely zero self awareness.Again, noun game. If you were to say
"The black people can get their feelings hurt, they don't need you to bat for them as a white man,"
You'd be the penitent thief next to Jesus on the hill.

Companies want to be exposed to Era? Or is it the other way around.
I'm watching it now. They are profit driven like any company. They are def pursuing rapid growth and high margins. Era seems to be their biggest fish caught so far.
Slide from 6-7mins in. They want to get into streaming & vid content. Era will likely be a part of this push.
lmao ok which one of you did this?

Are you already banned there?Nope. Too late. Fuck you, guys, I’m joining Reee.
Where's the part about being able to disable problematic ads though?
A good summary of what the presentation has been so far (~15 mins in)
$4.55M USD = ~172M SEK
I wonder if MOBA Network is aware that Era doesn't give some of their content creators a platform?
My exchange website lied to me then. I’ll update that post.More like $4.55M USD = ~40M SEK
Also interesting is that MobaFire took out a 20 Million SEK loan to finance acquisitions. 20M SEK = roughly 2.3M USD. They used this to acquire Magic Find. They launched a new company between that acquisition and the Era buyout, so potentially some additional monies went to that.
The odd thing to me is, how did they finance the Era buyout? If they took a loan out for Magic Find, why not with Era?
$4.55M USD = ~172M SEK

Not enough people have told Nepenthe that they're loathed by everyone, or she lacks the self-awareness to realize she's the root of the problems. It seems people on the other forums created by communities that left Era hate Nephente which makes me believe this mod is actively hated by the whole community. Why is this trash of a human being still a mod? It's clear this person is not suited to be a moderator. I can barely say they're suited to live in a society at this point, with that whole kill white babies debacle. Nephente, if you're reading this, fuck you, cunt.
LOL! This old video did not age well at all. These two guys are a special level of stupid.
"formed resetera, something less Clique-y" among other really bad takes about Evilore.
Soon when Warner Bros announced Hogwarts game, resetera wont survive.
M.O.B.A.’s communities benefit from substantial user content, as well as network effects. User content is cheap, as it requires limited rescores, and has a strong positive effect from an SEO perspective. The community also creates network effects as the number of users and volume of relevant content grows. This will become even more attractive as it increases in size, creating considerable moats if it becomes one of the leading communities in its niche.
A fast-growing company in a fast-growing sector
M.O.B.A. focuses on communities in the gaming sector - particularly brands that are suitable for Esport. The gaming sector is set to grow rapidly in the coming years and Esports will grow even faster. Several megatrends drive this growth. M.O.B.A. has also proven that it can grow both visitor traffic and revenues substantially faster than the underlying market.
Adding communities and economies of scale
The group can grow by adding new communities, either through in-house launches on its proprietary platform or acquisitions. It develops and launches new in-house communities in conjunction with releases of new games. To get them off to strong starts, M.O.B.A. cross-promotes these launches to its existing communities in the same genre. Furthermore, the company is working to improve its existing websites. This has led to traffic growth of several hundred percent for some sites. We also believe that there is considerable room to improve the average revenue per user as well.
M.O.B.A.’s clear M&A focus in the gaming community niche is evident in its successful acquisitions. Today many communities in the sector operate at a “hobby” level that offers substantial potential for synergies and optimization if commercialized under M.O.B.A.’s umbrella. Accordingly, we see good scope for the company to make value-adding acquisitions.
Counter-Thesis – Bear Points
Community and game dependency
M.O.B.A. has a significant dependence on a single community and a single game. The company’s largest community in terms of visitor traffic - and probably in terms of revenues too - is Mobafire.com, which generates more than 70% of total traffic. Dependence on the game ‘League of Legends’ is even greater as websites that focus on this title generate about 90% of the company´s traffic. However, these dependences are declining with the rapid growth of the company’s other websites, and the addition of MMORPG.com. We also regard League of Legends as a strong brand with a long lifetime.
Dependent on ads
We expect user activity in the communities to be relatively recession-resistant. However, the majority of M.O.B.A.’s revenues depend on pricing in the ads market, which is sensitive to economic downturns. The company is mitigating some of this risk by increasing direct sales.
Low stock liquidity
M.O.B.A.´s low stock liquidity is hampering the valuation as it means increased risk for the investors and makes it difficult for larger institutions to invest.
