There is only one Flight Simulator on 1 Xbox that even received it later. Why the hell would anyone call Flight Simulator an Xbox game?

Still too early to say. We don't have any official specs. We also don't know what VR settings the game would run on if it were to come to console.
Expecting it to be run like shit because the PC version does is silly, there could be room for additional optimization we don't know about yet. The PS5 may not even be getting MSFS2020, it could be MSFS2024 for all we know.

It runs Ok on my XSX with VRR, whilst maintaining a nice and crisp image. But its definitely a wait for sale game for moi.

The new update seems way more “gamey” but it’s really a pretty serious simulator. It’s fun to screw around with as someone who doesn’t really have a great interest in planes, but it’s clearly made for people who are super into aviation. If you are super into this stuff you already have a setup on PC. Seems illogical to port this and expect huge returns but what do I know.

That's not the point of it, it's not really a game, hence the name simulator.
Personally I don't see the point of playing it with a controller, you need a HOTAS to get the most out of it, at which point it becomes really fun since you can learn a good deal about how planes work and the various flight mechanics. In full manual mode each plane takes a long time to learn and get to grips with so you can easily lose dozens of hours by just flying random routes.
I can see most people who play with a controller bouncing off quickly it after a little bit of sight seeing, but if you really want to enjoy it then I'd recommend getting a HOTAS, even if it's a cheaper one.

It isn't a game. It's a simulator. Some people - like me - love that stuff.
Imo, it doesn't show well on console, with or without PSVR2. It won't until flight controllers on console mature, if they ever do. The people who care about things like that right now have PCs.

Its not some made up narrative tho. Its an absolute fact that "Xbox games are coming to PS5". The First 4 has now become The Next 4.
Sony games are coming to PC =|= Every Sony exclusive is coming to PC.
Spot the difference.
But the real point is, MS Flight Simulator since its inception has been a PC title, not an Xbox game. A PC game coming to PS5 is the story here, but I get the “Aha” moment everyone is salivating about. The memes speak for themselves, some believe every single exclusive is coming to PS5.
