I don't think that's a problem in the NFL. These teams are fielded by professionals. they should have enough pride to actually make a stop or two. If they don't stop the offense, the offense has no reason to quit scoring. That is what they are paid to do. If they get blown out 62-7 that's the Vikings fault. I don't think it is wise thing to do though because you are risking your starting QB for pretty much nothing. Although 38-7 isn't that bad.
