I agree next week is huge, and it is close to a must win game. Even now in 3rd place the Bears hold the 6 seed.

If they lose next week they aren't out of it for the 6 seed with this win tonight.

Dude were not getting swept by detroit. That's a win book it now.

Will the real E-L-I-T-E plz stand up.

Theres White,Broyles,Edwards,Woods, and Allen( I think they are all available) next year in the draft Eagle fans

Keep up the bravado cause you know you scared.;)

you're probably right after how eli proved he is elite and shredded a very good pats secondary. then you add to that how good the giants run defense has been this season and i'm not even sure why we're playing the game

we should rest our starters and avoid injury because we aint winning anyways :(

If there is anyone that should be scared it should be the offense playing the Niners defense. They punish people.

He's had a couple of games where he fucked up a 4th down when they had a chance to win/tie a game at the end of regulation. It was a bad pass on Vick's part tonight, but funny that it was Maclin nonetheless.

It's always good when there's a good consensus in the thread.:D

Seriously though, you know this isn't going to be easy sledding for either team. I don't do the shit talk thing for a reason. There's no given in the NFL.

Yeah, they're a good defense. The Giants league leading pass rush against Alex Smith and that offensive line shouldn't at all be a worrying matchup for the Niners. Not at all.

If the Giants go .500 the rest of the season, the Eagles would have to go 7-1 (with a win against the Giants in NJ) to win the division. They're not out of it in so far as a wildcard or even the division but that loss and the Giants win makes it extremely tough going for them.

Eagles season is over. Period. Barring miracles....this season is done. These bums should just jot even show up.

What a fuckin waste of money, time, and effort. Fucking worthless.

yeah it's going to be our toughest matchup of the season. i don't think the weather is going to be very good this weekend either :/

if your run D plays like it has in previous week we wont be passing much

You're gonna have 25 tries to get him. Have at it. The rest of the time they are lining up and pushing it straight down the middle.

Niners defense and Gore will be ours. Our rush defense in particular is a problem. I said it earlier man, if Gore runs all over us we are screwed.

25 tries to get turnovers which is what our defense is good at. That works.

Time to punch our ticket to the playoffs. 4 straight against the AFC West after the Detroit game. Bears are as good as being 10-3 at this point.

Yeah just like those sure wins at home last year against the Redskins and Seahawks.

I say if you guys score over 20 you win. Can't see this defense giving up much more than that honestly. I think 4 FG's and a TD is feasible against the Giants D.

I'm looking forward to it. I'm hoping for the type of physical match-up that's expected. I'd prefer to see the Giants playing good teams. Winning those games is even better. The Niners game is more important than the Pats win as we're fighting for a possible #2 seed with the win if it comes down to tiebreakers.

NFC Wildcard is looking like some combination of Lions, Bears, Falcons, and Cowboys.

Hopefully Saints beat up on the Falcons and Giants beat up on the Cowboys.

And Heck, Lions still gotta play the Pack twice, plus we can beat them.

Anything is possible.
