Well, he's a Brit. Can't expect Europeans to know shit about football.

We're going to let Hillis walk now? Wow the Maddern cover seems to have made him a super wanker. Seeing how 8 veterans on the team had a go at him for being a prick I'm guessing he's a real ugly influence in the locker room right now. I would say cut him but Hardesty is injured and Jackson is out for the season.

Someone wanna give me the cliff notes on Hillis?
I've had too much self-respect to intentionally seek out information about Cleveland.

The only thing I know of the guy is I saw him on ESPN after he got the Madden cover and he went all Jesusy.

-Wanted a bigger contract
-Possibly feigning injury/playing under his ability due to his agent's suggestion regarding contract
-On the injured report recently but was fucking around throwing footballs on field during warmups before a game.
-Team vets cornered him and made their thoughts clear on how he's become a distraction to the team
-Cleveland is prepared to move on without him when he's a free agent.

I think that's right.

He's a talented guy who plays on the Cleveland Browns. He wants at least a shot at success, I'm guessing, so he's playing the team so they dump him.

might have to make a poster out of that. O_O

when I was younger I swear I read some where that the KC Chiefs were originally the Dallas Texans....oh well.

Hmm. Hillis is being douchey but Holmgren always was a bit of a moron when it came to personel moves.

Dick Wolf FTW!

....Ron Wolf.

Dick Wolf is the guy on Law & Order :jnc

Totally. The Philly game is quite a bit more important, though. If Bears lose against Philly, season is over in my opinion. If they manage to beat Philly but still lose to the Lions, they still have a good chance at 6th seed because they would have good tie breakers against other wildcard seeking teams: Falcons, Bucs and Eagles.

But I don't see them winning this week. Bears give up too many big yardage plays, and the Eagles are the king of big plays.

Wait how is the Eagles game more important than a divisional game?

They both are of course and season could be over if they lose to the Eagles but if two teams come out of your division your only chance is to be the 2nd team behind the Packers so beating the Lions is far better.

Rams won their one game, we'll probably get blown out tomorrow unless Bradford plays

I think we're going to do well these next few games. Bradford was practicing Friday, so I just can't see him sitting it out unless they choose to be ultra cautious.

And I may dislike all the pro-offense rules Goodell has forced down our throats, but I'll take that over what LSU and Bama just did to my TV.

Yeah, I think we should be much better than the first half of the season... I hope..

I cut Peyton Hillis' sorry ass, he was stinking up my bench.

Hart... Nightz... tell me more about the Chargers beyond Riversface, their stud TEs, and Norv being Norv.
Our stud TE's really aren't being that studly... Gates is still hurt and is not himself. McMichael is solid, but no real threat. Our oline has been playing awesome, but they're banged up and our stud LG is out. Our WR combo of Floyd, Jackson, and Crayton can burn people, but Rivers has been flat out bad, so they don't really have any numbers to back that up this season. Matthews has been playing really good as well, but we have no idea if he'll be playing or not. He got hurt at KC

Our defense has been solid, kinda. Weddle is playing awesome, and our ILB play has been great but we don't have a pash rush(Our top two pass rushers will both miss the game), and our corner play asides from Jammer has been very poor. Our starter, Cason, got benched and now a rookie is playing.

Overall, you shouldn't have much to worry about... in order for this game to be close, Rivers is going to have to play like his old self. He's gonna need to throw like 3TD's and then some in order for us to have a shot at winning. Honestly, I think we're going to lose, but I really hope we can fix our shit and pull it together. Really, our 3 losses can be attributed to turnovers and failure to score within the redzone. Fix both of those and we're 7-0, but any team can say that... so yeah, it'll be interesting to see how we come out and play.

Hopefully our D figured out some things over the bye though because otherwise Rivers will definitely have a big game just like every other QB we've face. Maybe with Williams having an extra week off to heal he'll start looking like the Tramon of last year. Matthews I think will have a big game though; he's definitely turned it on these last few games even though the sack numbers don't show it.

Still going to hold out hope that our D starts to gel towards the end of the season. Just can't have any crazy injuries

Sup Hartt!! This should be a good game, I'm hoping Capers got the defense motivated after the bye week. I'm getting tired of 3rd and longs ending up as first downs every time. Green Bay needs some 3 and outs damn it!!

Can't really expect Rodgers and the offense to put up 30 PTs a game every week can we ? Because if the D doesn't show up sometime soon that's what we will need. I really expect Rivers to light up our secondary like every other QB unfortunatly....

Surprising statement win today for the Brownies, saying fuck all the shit surrounding our team.
But seriously, almost every season, the Browns win a game where they are at least 95% underdogs. I got a feeling this one might be it.

I'm probably going to miss the first half of the Pats game today. I swear if the Pats don't run the ball consistently today I will murder someone. If the Pats are down 3-7 points early it's over because that's when classic O'brien is going to show up.

Mark Sanchez against the Bills or Phillip Rivers against the Pack?

Sanchez has been outplaying Rivers but Green Bay's defense is really suspect and the Bills have been generating a lot of interceptions.

That actually sounds like the Chargers of years past. Putting up points, but the D
and special teams
letting them down. This season is the opposite. The defense has been holding up well, but the offense can't score points. I'm hoping Rivers snaps out of the funk he's in today. Our players need to stop getting injured too. Key guys dropping like flies out there.

Packers have a great turnover ratio but they give up a fuck ton of yards, And can't get out of 3rd downs. If Rivers can't get it going against Green Bay I'd be worried if I was a chargers fan.(I'd be happy because that would mean we actually stopped the pass lol)

Speaking of James, I saw his top five QB list, Mike Vick and Cam Newton. Bravo.
His top 5 QB list is terrible after the top 3 because Vick isn't top 5 and Cam shouldn't be in anyones top 10 much less top 5.

Who should be in the top 5 then?
Roethlisberger? Ben is obviously better than Newton and Vick. Id put Shaub and Eli too.

We all know he put Cam on his failed list because he's black and ESPN plays his dumb touchdown dances every min. they can.
