Manning wouldn't make it through the season upright in that division.

Manning isn't Wilson, Smith, or Kolb/Skelton. I'm assuming that with a decent line, he can alter protections and read defenses sufficiently to survive. That's not to say that those guys can't do it, but they're not on the level of Manning in that regard.
