They have been using him in the redzone off swing passes and other RB routes. Its worked for the most part... but he isnt worth a shit in pass protection.

Not really. Some while Ryan was banged up, but he's mostly there to bailout Rivers on check downs. A bunch of his TDs have been by design though.

While I don't think they'll ultimately be considered the best at their positions in the years to come, as of right now he drafted Keenan Allen and DJ Fluker, the best wide receiver and offensive lineman in this year's draft.
