Playing QB was a lot harder a decade ago, or well, two decades ago. With all the rule changes favoring offense, it's not difficult for anyone remotely competent to move the ball between the 20s. Look at all the young QBs who've had moderate to immense success early in their careers lately. What's impressed me about Mariotta is his poise under pressure and ability to convert in the redzone. That's where it usually gets difficult for the youngins'.
