They're half-assing it until Week 8/9. Then they'll pick it up like they did last year. They have an attitude problem, and think they're better than everyone else, so thy don't think they need to play hard until the time requires it.
He is in his 4th season as a starting professional QB and pushing 30.

I believe if they cut him before March next year they take only a 10 million dollar cap hit that can be spread out over 2 years. He is most likely gone.
