It'd help if we didn't have a pre-season. It twikes me off to watch starters get injured in games that mean jack shit so owners and such can pad their pockets a bit more.

Haven't they cut down on contact practices a lot due to the CBA? If that's the case, I think that's partially why there have been so many injuries. It's a bit counter-intuitive but I think the contact at practice helps prepare players for the physicality of a real game.
