Well we're in the running for Gipson at least. And maybe we can get Laurinaitus?Paper thin depth at CB, and garbage at LB and S.
Now to see who they sign as low and mid tier FA's.
At least something good happened today. Good riddance.DM!! You're getting a Seahawks O-lineman!! Pls celebrate
You know
Maybe Miami might finally pass the FA champion torch this season
not really. this is a league where fucking Brock just got paid close to $20 mil a year. i think the niners could take it or leave it. what is the point of trading kap for a 4th rounder?
p.s.
its down to the niners and raiders for sean smith!
$52 million guaranteed is insaneOlivier Vernon is this year's Byron Maxwell: decent player at a premium position in a thin market.
i'm assuming he could beat out gabbert in a competition but no one knows what cheatin' chip would decide!

You'd think so but I have a feeling we're about to sign a guard to the riches contract in history.
Texans fans how does it feel to have a good offseason thus far?
If the Broncos offered something, and he was to get beat out by Gabbert then it's a lose/lose because you eat his cap and get no picks in return. Otherwise, you'd have something to show for it.
Maybe he returns to glory though?
Signing a guy is much different than trading for a guy. No team is generally going to be stupid enough to trade a first round pick for a bad qb hoping that a change of scenery will cure him. Might as well just keep him if they are asking for a first. I can understand not selling low, but if Kap isn't the guy might as well get something for him.
@bylindsayhjones
Chiefs also fined $250K; Andy Reid fined $75K and John Dorsey $25K for illegal contact w/ Maclin while he was still an Eagle.
we already have plenty of picks, more than can make our roster. don't need the cap room either. we currently have the most cap room in the NFL and i don't see us signing many FA's going forward either.
Cheater. I want my reparations! We should get their 3rd round pick.
Fair enough, but the dead cap escalates dramatically after this year.
It wouldn't surprise me if the money is holding things up more so than draft picks.
On one hand, I'm REALLY fucking bummed about losing Mebane.
On the other, that frees up a lot of money for other stuff.
Losing Sweezy is pretty big too as much as I didn't like him. We REALLY need Okung back now.
I feel like we're losing a ton of people and not really bringing in anybody. Remember when everyone wanted to come play for Seattle?
Fuck let just build a new line from scratch.
kaps contract is structured on a year to year basis. as long as we cut him before april 1st of each year, we are off the hook. so he is essentially on a 1 year, $15 mil deal or whatever it is. we have something like $65 mil in cap space (and that is with kaps contract already considered). we good brah!
The Indianapolis Colts made it official, cutting former Texans Pro Bowl wide receiver Andre Johnson on Wednesday.
I get how his deal works, but the point is are you going to vest his salary this year only to have him get beat out by Gabbert? It's a $15M cap hit to test the waters. Then you have to do it all over again, but to the tune of $19M the following year. Assuming he makes the roster.
Going by tweets I'm seeing Brock was royally pissed off at the Broncos coaches and front office.
He mad.
Media generating headlines.Andy Reid stole Jeremy Maclin from us.
Also, how does Chase Daniel have a chance to win the job when Bradford is basically playing on a franchise tag?
I read that the youngn's like hipster retro 80s artwork. And they like animals.
So I'm already working on new desktop graphics for my future Rams friends.

Victor Cruz contract is being reworked as @art_stapleton noted. Expect him to remain with #Giants

Very nice, the only suggestion I have is to fill the rock "blank space" up with something, whether it be another gradient or something overlaying it.
