I was reminded about why I don't visit Browns forums/football forums after I saw a thread about players kneeling. Choice quote:

I have been a loyal, loyal fan for years...that might be the string that breaks the camels back.

I am contemplating cancelling my plans to travel to two Browns games this year. I sure as hell won't purchase a single product endorsed by any of them.

You have been promising these saps story tales about what it was like to be a JCB and the glories of 8-8 for years and they ain't got shit to show for it.

Eventually you gotta show some results.

A lot of times when bad things happen to people they are rightfully told that it was not their fault. I wish I could say the same to you BG but I am not that skilled of liar (yet).

I've seen some posts saying how they are strongly considering (!!) to not watch any NFL games because of dudes kneeling.

Luck doesn't need to be replaced long-term

Luck does need to actually heal a major injury he's had through 2 seasons, that he's clearly not fully healed from, that he didn't even have surgery for until This Offseason

Same argument I've seen for the Dolphins, fuck drafting a new guy. Just let your current guy actually Heal.

Baltimore unfortunately doesn't have much choice. The owner's the only one that doesn't want Kaep, and Flacco has a back injury that really does need to properly Heal

Much as I hate Osweiler, the season's over no matter what in my eyes if Joe's not 100% and if Mallet's in a legit position to start. Might as well make things funny for others

You think if Kaep pulled a Pryor Sr and transitioned to receiver he'd still be blackballed? I've always said it was something he should have considered. He has stupid good sprinting speed, and apart from that weird year where the Niners made the super bowl he hasn't played very well at all as a QB.

Or still too much baggage on him for owners?

No he shouldnt, not at this point anyway. I was a never a huge fan of him at QB but he is a far better option than some of the shit teams are signing as back ups. The Ravens signed a damn arena league QB with absolutely no NFL experience as a back up

Kaep needs to stand his ground because he is in the right here.

Teams don't want to sign Kaep not because of his beliefs but because he attracts the media circus in the same magnitude Tebow did when he was in the NFL.
