If we're talking sleeper QB's I would watch out for Shane Carden (East Carolina). I watched him play a few times against VT and he picked apart their secondary in a way I've rarely seen. Not the strongest arm but he reads the field well and he has great accuracy and touch, as well as a nice deep ball. I could see him as the Derek Carr of this draft.

I'm not sure what the general opinion is on him though, maybe there are some red flags I'm missing.

He's looked okay.

Smooth feet on a few throws, sloppy on some others. 7 step drop with double hitch didn't look as good. Nobody has really looked that good yet.

Same here. He has the biggest hands of all the QBs at the Combine and we know Chip loves his QBs with big hands. He's big, strong, fast and was an accurate passer in college. His biggest weakness seems to be dropping back and standing in the pocket. That may be less of an issue for Chip and Co.

That being said, not sure I want to take him at 20 but we may have to if we want to get him.
