Fear of a GAF Planet
We need defense. Offense with poor defense and we'll suffer a Colts/Green Bay flameout in the playoffs.

In a moment of honesty about the team I just see too many moving parts having to come together in order for the defense to be great

New defensive co-ordinator
New defensive philosophy
Ryan Shazier
Jarvis Jones
Shamarko Thomas
Stephon Tuitt

All these guys have to prove they can perform. Shazier specifically, as it seems Tomlin is trying to revive the Tampa 2 defense with Shazier starring as Derrick Brooks.

To that, I'd add Cortez Allen, Mike Mitchell and Arthur Moats. It'd be easier to make a quick list of guys on defense that I have no concerns about:

Cam Heyward
Lawrence Timmons

Thinking it will all come together this year is a pipe dream. But they have to find out who can play and who needs to be replaced. Just stay somewhat healthy, ffs.

Woke up from a nice nap and decided to check some football news as I made some tea, and was pleasantly surprised that the bills resigned Nickell Robey. I think he's one of my favorite players in the entire league and I'm hoping Rex uses him just like his understudy did. He's a fun player to watch, a very good blitzer, and can really cover given his size.

I asked John Harris from Texans.com to clearify on Crennel and Wilfork being "fired up" after those fights broke out at the joint practice yesterday.

Hoping for "Please Don't Fucking Embarrass Us Again - 8" ±4 games.
As long as it's not a paper bag season I'll be happy.

Never have there been so many posts about nothing

:Jnc I didn't know I got to #4. That was because July was the worst offseason month literally about nothing so there was boredom everywhere. I had to do something to pass the days. I'm actually surprised that Cajun got more posts in than me.

Yay for Preseason games for testing out new rules and looking at backups. No Peterson, no Bell, and no Rottenburger tonight. I'll probably just watch the 1st qtr and just bail after that.

I lol'd so hard. Although to be fair, this one can't be worse than the stupid fucking idiots on the Dan Patrick Show saying Get a Life upon seeing that Woshige blunder at EVO. They made themselves look so dumb like the shit they are EVEN Rogers Sports up in Canada had a more fair reaction to it than those low life asses did.

If it happens which I hope it doesn't but if it does you can bet it will be at a colts game.

Depth guys to watch for on the Vikings:

Adam Thielen has a chance to either entrench himself as a rotational WR or settle in as a special teams contributor.

Marcus Sherels could be on the outside looking in this year as a punt return specialist. He holds the record in Minnesota for Average return and total return yards. We have some rookies that might make it hard to justify his veteran salary.

Stefon Diggs is the 5th round WR out of maryland that I have mentioned in the past as having an outstanding head on his shoulders. He has shown fantastic route running ability, playmaking, and athleticism. Need to see how it plays on the field.

There is also a big time battle happening at MLB and at Safety opposite Harrison Smith. Both positions have a handful of solid options.

In other words: X looks like he could potentially be a solid contributor or cut off the team. Nobody knows. It's preseason.

You want depression? The Falcons have won a playoff game more recently than Rapistberger.

Ye but then I recall seeing 2 OWL and my franchise having 6 and the closest you've come was having a balding chandler and snorting coke off of urinals Jamal Anderson getting their ass beat by horse teeth Elway.

Here, I got it:

Offense: Kapernidickus reigns supreme.
Defense: Everyone retired.
