2015 Washington Redskins
Washington ‘s biggest addition this year has been Scot McCloughan, Former drunk, 49ers GM, and Senior Personnel Executive for the Seahawks. Scot quickly went to work and added talent to one of the worst defenses last year while also getting a new defensive coordinator in Joe Barry. Barry was previously the Chargers LB coach and before that he was the defensive coordinator for the infamous 0-16 Lions

Offense: With an improved o-line, and great skill position players the season falls under RG3’s progression into a pocket QB. So far into training camp there seems to be a glimmer of hope that he get’s it and is starting to look like a real QB, not elite, or good but possibly average which is a big improvement over last year.
The offensive line is getting a revamp with the addition of Cowboys OL coach Bill Callahan filling the same position for the Redskins. He’ll have his work cut out for him with the possibility of three new starters this year, Morgan Moses RT, Brandon Scherff OG, and Spencer Long OG.
Skill position players remain the same with Morris the lead RB; Djax, Garcon and Roberts the starting WRs, and Jordan... wait he's hurt, Niles Paul at TE.
Defense: New DC Joe Barry is bringing over a more aggressive defense, he is running a one gap attacking 3-4 defense instead of the conventional two gap. In the two gap scheme the 3 down line are responsible for two gaps and must read and react to what what the offense is doing while in the one gap system, the line man and LBers just attack one gap. Two gap is better for the run while the one gap is better for the pass.
Preseason Watchlist:
1. RG3- Will it be his redemption story or a precautionary tale on what not to do with an elite talent.
2. OLB - Junior Gallete vs. Trent Murrphy battle to play opposite of Probowler Ryan Kerrigen.
3. RT: While Scherff was drafted to take over the RT spot after Tyler Polumbus’s departure. It looks like last years 3rd rounder Morgan Moses is healthy and ready to take over and put Scherff in his natural spot as a OG.
4. Matt Jones- Considered by many analysts as only a role player for short yardage and 3rd down pass pro. Scott instead sees a young Beastmode ready to take Alfred’s spot.
5. TE- Can Jordan Reed stay healthy? NVM Already hurt
6. Jamison Crowder, the undersized speedster has been impressing everyone in training camp.
