Not entirely related, but I just applied at Franklin Templeton for a sales assistant and sales associate position. I have a 4 year degree and I work in retail (been team sales leader, etc.), but I dunno. I just need to GTFO of Sports Authority and make decent money.

Being rich is very subjective. I don't know how it is but somehow it is.

I know a few people who earn more than $500k a year and they legitimately do not think they are rich. They think they are well off but no matter how well off you are you don't focus on the poors beneath you, you only have eyes for the guy who is balling way above your pay grade. I know a guy who actually has a private jet from his company and he will fucking talk about the jackasses with bigger jets. Be happy with what you have. Unless you are Gata, then you can justifiably be a little angry. Euros do you commie bastards think like this or is this an American thing?

The point is not to denigrate Wilson, but to elevate his team: the Seahawks are so good that two-thirds of the starting quarterbacks in the NFL could take them on, at the very least, a deep playoff run. The point is also to elevate the other special quarterbacks, most of whom will never play on a team like the 2013 Seahawks.

Wilson deserves most of the great things we will say about him this week. Alex Smith, Andrew Luck, Cam Newton, and yes, Tony Romo also deserve some compliments: They did a lot with a lot less, which should count toward them, but will inevitably be held against them.

Not that I think Wilson is the greatest qb of all time, but he is very good and I don't think the team would be as good as it was with Alex Smith. Russell has that ability to create something out of nothing. Add that to a good defense and you often get a SB champion. See Eli, Ben, and to a lesser extent Flacco.

I thought about going into accounting in college because of the pay and stability but man the job seems so goddamn boring. Friends to pursued accounting (MAcc, etc) are doing well now though. I ended up with a minor in financial accounting, that was good enough for me.

Good thing I'm going into medicine now where there's even less money though!! 8-(

Alex Smith threw for 378 yards, 4 TDs, no INTs plus ran for another 57 yards vs the Colts. It's probably one of the 5 greatest playoff games by a losing QB I have ever seen. Alex is a good QB. He's not Dalton tier or anything close to it
