Alabama's Smith becomes 1st WR to win Heisman in 29 years
DeVonta Smith of Alabama is the first wide receiver to win the Heisman Trophy in 29 seasons. Smith broke the monopoly quarterbacks have had on college football’s most prestigious award by beating out three of them.

So the long hair'd QB dude who recently lost an important game has failed to win a trophy he was apparently a lock for.
Discuss.
Why not him? What's great about this dude? Why do you think he fell from the top of the Heisman standings? the guy was, what, 32-2 over his college career?
How about this wide receiver, DeVonta Smith, is he teh shiat?
Also, what NFL teams do we think are going to go for Lawrence? Is he really next off the rank in the "mahomes > kyler murray > ..." coveyor belt? Is he legit, or is he more like a Daniel Jones and co, decent enough but not a future SB winner unless he's dropped into a very good team?
Who wants him? Why? Do they still want him as much?
