People ALWAYS said the same exact thing about Elway. And where is he now? To many people the best QB of all time. At worst, 2nd or 3rd behind Montana/Marino. Does anyone think of him as a choker? No.

Actually, people said the same thing about Marino, too. Not only is Manning showing himself capable of putting up stats like Marino, but he also demands the spotlight. His contract is going to cripple that team under the cap. He's not going to win a Super Bowl any time soon. He might go down as statistically the best ever, but right now Marino isn't thought of as the best QB of all time in general and he's the best passer ever. It takes more. Peyton has been an all-around dick for a long time, we'll have to see if he settles down and is able to do what is needed for the team (Elway) or keeps insisting on doing it his way(Marino). I don't feel comfortable at all making the assumption that Manning will win a super bowl. He'll go down among the greats, barring an injury or a huge unexpected dropoff in production, but whether he's going to be seen as the best is impossible to project.

yeah, that's why i consider marino the best ever. he was the best passer ever. period.

i think manning is that, and he can win a superbowl. if he does that, he will pass marino(assuming a great career, not just this year obviously).

Only about 3 hours and 45 minutes until the future.

I put money on: Steelers, Broncos, Chargers, and Niners to cover the ridiculous 7 point spread. $200 on the line. I am most scared of the Steelers-Bengals game, to be honest.

Should be a fun fucking day of games.

:lol Yeah that was pretty funny. But Vasher should have made a play on that ball. He just needed to look behind.

This defense looks a bit lost without Urlacher. They are missing a ton of tackles which is strange.

Offense better step it up. :lol

God, the Colts can't get ANYONE to kick the ball off good. This has been a problem for 4 years. They've went through like 3 kick-off only guys. Drafted a guy this last season and still shit.

I've already decided Grossman is one of the best QBs in the league. With him at offense the offense was clicking. With him out they've looked like complete shit.

Grossman = Best QB in the league for making the Bears offense look respectable.

I knew the Colts offense would get yards and points.

But I thought the Bears defense would make tackles.

Look at that recent James 35 yard run. Hideos tackling effort. And fucking Hillimeyer -middle linebacker replacing urlacher - missed a tackle behind the line of scrimmage for a 2 yard loss. Urlacher is there that play is a 2 yard loss and not a 35 yard gain. Ugh....

Colts fans aren't spoiled. We know the Colts HAVE to score on damn near every possession. That may sound absurd but if you saw the defense every week you'd agree. The offense knows it too.
