You'd have to be able to get to him for that. 7 sacks on the season still, isn't it?

WEEK 14
Sunday, Dec. 12
Chicago at Jacksonville, 1:00 p.m. - Anyone who can say otherwise after the Steelers game is insane. And Josh Scobee will be a record-breaking kicker in this league.
Cincinnati at New England, 1:00 p.m. - No, they couldn't? Could they?
Cleveland at Buffalo, 1:00 p.m. - Though I'm hoping with every fibre of my being that it's the other way round. Make Kevin Cadle suffer...
Indianapolis at Houston, 1:00 p.m. - I want to pick the Texans. Really I do.
New Orleans at Dallas, 1:00 p.m. - Meh.
N.Y. Giants at Baltimore, 1:00 p.m. - Though I can but hope I'm wrong...
Oakland at Atlanta, 1:00 p.m. - Is that the good Atlanta, or the crappy Atlanta?
Seattle at Minnesota, 1:00 p.m. - What happened to the predictions of Seattle in the Superbowl?
Miami at Denver, 4:05 p.m. - There is no team suckier than Miami out there at the moment.
N.Y. Jets at Pittsburgh, 4:05 p.m. - They're the real deal. Got to lose eventually, but not at home this week.
Detroit at Green Bay, 4:15 p.m. - "This team sucks. Now they're good. Now they suck again." "Perhaps they just suck really well..."
San Francisco at Arizona, 4:15 p.m. - I retract my earlier comment about Miami.
St. Louis at Carolina, 4:15 p.m. - Nobody wins. Although the Rams score more points, in a desperate attempt to make the hurting stop.
Tampa Bay at San Diego, 4:15 p.m. - Duh.
Philadelphia at Washington, 8:30 p.m. - Can't pick against the Iggles right now.

Monday, Dec. 13
Kansas City at Tennessee, 9:00 p.m. - Unless cap hell freezes over

If I'm the Texans DB's, I'm fucking all over the Colts receivers... a penalty is better than a touchdown. Let Edge beat us, not Peyton and DEFINATELY not let him get 4 TDs. I'm going to be booing that motherfucker at the top of my lungs... no breaking that record in our house.

:lol :lol you know, that's not a bad plan. abuse the WRs and get a bunch of 5 yard penalties and some long ones....better than the colts lighting you up every possession.

I called it like 6 weeks ago...Harrison is more important than Edge.

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=1942016
The Indianapolis Colts on Wednesday achieved their second contract milestone of the season, reaching agreement on a seven-year, $67 million extension with wide receiver Marvin Harrison.

also...

The structure of Harrison's contract will allow enough flexibility for the Colts to try to find a way to keep running back Edgerrin James. There is a $7 million roster bonus that can be converted into a signing bonus in order to lower Harrison's cap number in 2005 to around only $3.2 million.

There also is a $10 million flexible roster bonus that can be converted into signing bonus to help the salary cap in 2006.

hmm...perhaps the triplets will stay together? Who knows.

and also, for any peyton doubters still out there, talking about how much offense has gone up and the league has changed, etc:

http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story?page=schatz/041208
We've gone through every quarterback season since the AAFC-NFL merger in 1950 to figure out the best passing performances in history. We created a level playing field by transferring each season to the offensive environment of 2004. If interceptions were more common than they are in 2004, we project fewer interceptions. If teams threw less often than they do now, we project more passing. If teams played only 14 games a year, we give the quarterback an extra two games -- and Manning and the other 2004 quarterbacks get an extra four games to make a full season.

Then we created a formula that turns passes, yards, touchdowns, and interceptions into the same PAR points (points created above a replacement-level QB) that you find each week in the Snap Judgment QB ratings. Unfortunately, we can't break down every single play like we do for Snap Judgment, so we can't adjust quarterbacks who get stuck in bad field position or have no running game. We couldn't include sacks since those numbers don't exist for some seasons, and we didn't adjust for strength of schedule. Also, this is a list of the best passing seasons of all time, not necessarily the best quarterbacking seasons of all time. Rushing yardage isn't included, which is one reason why Steve Young's 1994 season didn't crack the top 10.

It turns out that Manning is indeed having a historic season -- the greatest of all time, in fact. But two other 2004 QBs could also end up with historic years (factoring in regular-season performance only).

For those that don't know, my hero, Tiki Barber has also questioned the Giant's playcalling schemes, calling them routine. This is following Jeremy Shockey saying that the offense is entirely predictable two weeks ago. The both said it after I said it, that's how much my finger is on the pulse of this team. ;p

Listen if my boy Tiks ask you to jump, you should be in the air asking if you can come down. John Hufnagel's offensive play calling has been horrendous for the passed two weeks, and extremely dodgy for the three weeks before that. Week 1 against the Eagles, Tony Siragusa was standing at the sidelines and accurately predicting what plays the Giants were going to run, which was pretty disgusting, IMO. Weeks 3-8 it was a bit better, but that was helped by the explosion of Tiks into an elite runner.

The complaints from the Shockster and Tiks are just the most public ones since they are the biggest playmakers on the offense. All skill positions have complained, with the exception of Eli (that I know of, at least). But with the talent on the team it's too be expected that they'd react that way. I agree with Tiks though, he said that you can't really ask for a change in the offense until you start executing what you got correctly.

We are the last and only hope of stopping the Pats. The Pats simply own Peyton and the Jets and Chargers are not balanced enough to beat then in Foxboro. We on the other hand have already dismantled the Pats once and if we win out we can repeat the performance in January. :D

Also, I find it funny how some rabit Eagles and Pats fans (not on this board) are desperate to dismiss the Steelers as some sort of "pretender". It is funny to hear that after they beat a creampuff team by 30 but got their asses handed to them by Big Ben.

True, but other guys have to step up and make plays. I guarantee both the Pats and Steelers will both be missing some important players in the AFC Championship game, but other guys have to step up.

I predicted the Steelers would win the Superbowl every year for the last 19 years. Just because you say something will happen doesn't mean it will.

And this year is ALWAYS different from last year in the eyes of every fan. :lol

That's what you think. The 49ers will crush them in the regular season, and the embarassment will cause them to fold in their first game of the playoffs.
