Wooo! Just got back from the game and caught up on all the posts.

Let me just say that the Falcons game was fantastic! I think us in the crowd really helped the team get it together when the Rams tied the game up at 17. A lot of things really came together for us today. The O-Line actually played decent and gave Vick some time to throw. Vick did a nice mixture of pass and running. Dunn, Crumpler and Griffin were excellent.

And the defense...... :D

They really put it on Bulger and Faulk today. That sack on the 1 and then the Int/TD was great!

The only concerns I had was the secondary as usual, but then again it's almost impossible to keep Holt and Bruce from getting their yards.

2-0 Bitches and still on top of the NFC South!!! It's a celebration!

Shout out to my man Soulja! ;)

Fellow Falcons fans rejoice.

do you see how much of an accomplishment it was for us (niners) to hold vick to 6 carries for 10 yards last week now? he ran all over the rams.

all i can say about todays game is there are a lot of excuses to throw out, but a loss is a loss. now to be the best we have to beat the best, and the best team in our division is the seachickens, and so we much beat them next week. i'm confident we will so long as we play niner football for 60 minutes, and not 30 minutes (as we have done the first 2 weeks of the season)

That's it, as a Bills fan i am packing it up for the season. Although the terrible call on the holding in the endzone which should have been called a safety doesn't help, but then the Bills just plain suck.

Well, Vick is going to have injury in the back of his mind everytime he runs...i think in the opener that's was big in his mind, week 2 he relaxed and just let loose...not to take anything away from the Niner defense...but what you say wasn't Vick...it was Vick lite.

If niners are back on par to how they played most of this game; and most of their players are back on D (Andre Carter, Mike Rumph, Dwaine Carpenter), and on Offense (Cedrick Williams, and Jeremy Newberry), i think we can win this game.

:lol you niners fans are crazy mutha fuggas

we beat up on the seachickens twice last year, they were fortunate to win both games (hearst fumble in seattle preserved a narrow victory, jeff "noodle arm" garcia preserved the chickens win in san fran by 7 in the final week). you won't be so lucky this year

p.s. jeremy blueberry newberry wont be playing this week, nor will he be playing anytime in the near future. he just got surgery and its not looking too good, he could be out for the year

this is a new year and we've only gotten stronger. Just wait until you meet our new defense!!

your new defense? wtf you look worse than last year. and our defense, which HAS actually improved, already manhandled you last year, so expect more of the same. the only thing you can't count on is the freebe interceptions/fumbles we bailed you guys out with last year. sorry amigo :D

Yes! What an awesome game to go too at Lambeau! It was great seeing all those damn Packers fans stunned at BEARS DOMINATION! Wooo!

Bad news, now. :( Mike Brown ruptured his achilles and is out for the season.

FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK FUCK

CHEFS SUCK 0-2!

edit: Scout's Inc. take on the game (before it started):

Without Smith to stretch the field on offense and with a patchwork offensive line that clearly is a shell of last year's unit, the Panthers will struggle to control the clock and the field.

DeShaun Foster: 32 carries, 174 yards, 1 TD
Carolina ToP: ~35:00

Arrowhead Stadium is one of the toughest venues in the NFL and it's that much tougher to play in as a visitor in the home opener. The Chiefs are still extremely vulnerable on defense, but the Panthers simply lack the weapons to exploit those weaknesses and, as a result, Carolina simply won't be able to keep up.

Jake Delhomme: 16/29, 291 yards (2nd straight 200-yard game), 2 INTs, 3 TDs
Ricky Proehl: 4 catches, 48 yards
Keary Colbert: 3 catches, 46 yards, 1 TD
Kris Mangum: 1 TD
Mike Siedman: 1 TD

Final Score: Carolina - 28 at Kansas City - 17

Take that Scouts Inc.!

This is NOT Randall Cunningham or Wilbert Montgomery or Harold Carmichael. This is NOT Andy Reid. This is Fresno State Alumni, more-career-interceptions-than-touchdowns TRENT FRIGGIN DILFER!

How the hell does that make you feel?"

Hah! An anti-Eagles pro-Ravens site, fine by me I suppose.

Konex: They were an average team with Kitna, they think they'll be great with Carson. The unknown promises so much more than the reliable.

Hah!!

Poor Dolphins fans....as if it wasn't bad enough, Lamont Frightful drops his first punt return tonight. Sure, he picked it up right away, but you guys are in for a long season with him back there. Scary stuff to be sure.

I guess my feeling is that you let a guy fuck up before you bench him...

not if the guy standing behind him is a guy you invested a number 1 overall pick, and millions of dollars, in. Eventually you have to see what you got. I mean, if you got Brett Favre or Peyton Manning in front, then yeah, but you don't delay the potential progress of the franchise over Jon fuckin Kitna. Like someone else mentioned, Kitna and the Bengals were a nice story last season, but that team wasn't gonna win a superbowl any time soon so why not throw in the young guy?

The black man everyone at Activision can agree on
My apologies to Dolphin fans... I had no idea you guys signed Lamont Brightful.....

EDIT: That anti-eagles site is pretty funny.

EDIT2: As I said, my apologies to Dolphins fans, picking up Brightful was a huge mistake for you guys.

Lamont Brightful is a bumbling, fumbling piece of crap, I was so happy when the rookie BJ Sams showed great potential during pre-season, and I was overjoyed when we cut Brightful's bum ass.

3 muffed punts

2 fumbles

He has become even worse.

Oh, and this is the funniest game I've ever seen because of Brightful. He should get his own sitcom: "Bumblin' Brightful"

He must be awesome at practice.

He'd be an average return man if there was no ball to carry

Since the rules of football say you must carry the ball to do his job, he's probably the worst return guy I've ever seen.

Its nice to see the dolphins havent adjusted their playcalling at all now that Williams is gone. Feeley is a good qb but the only time they let him throw is 3rd and long with a blitz in his face.

According to Ravens reports he was dropping balls during pre-season training camp sessions.

Brian Mitchel is still looking for a team, I wonder why they didnt pick him up. At the very least you know he will catch the ball.

i started deion branch, who had 1 catch for 7 yards.
who was on my bench?

only roy williams, who had 113 yards and 2 TDs.

you'd think if you watched football as much as i do, you'd know who to start. obviously not, i suck.
