Can we have Montreal-Ottawa and the Leafs miss the playoffs instead?
I'd be okay with this if we get another top 10 pick

YESSSSSS pleasee. We need more #1 Centers!
Ceci, White, 1st rounder.
A forward group including Hoffman, Stone, Turris and Duchene would be pretty scary.
are they giving NOTHING for Duchene?
I assumed they'd give D + picks, if they could swing something like that.
If not then top prospects + picks.
Filip Forsberg's 5 GWG in January are a Predators record for a calendar month. The previous record of 4 was originally set by...Martin Erat.
Thankfully, Sens trade history is a pretty good antiperspirant
#AlternativeFactsLol residential Weiner habs fans are sweating worse than Ken Hithcock at a buffet.
LET THE PLAYYYOFFSS BEGIN!! 👻
Did they? which team did he go to?I mean they traded Spezza for absolute trash.
in the fall, he accepted his demotion to the AHL with humility and class and has been a calming presence since returning to the Jets last week.
A scenario where Pavelec would serve as an experienced, lower cost No. 2 behind the anointed No. 1, Connor Hellebuyck, doesnt seem completely far-fetched.
It's amazing what a good performance against a nosediving team will get you.

Back off.RNH is gonna look great in a Habs Jersey friends
You're not suggesting that RNH wasn't widely projected to be a 1st line center, are you?Back off.
While the Nuge might not have the production of previous years, his value as a 2nd line, PK specialist should not be devalued. He has significantly improved his face off skills, and proven to be a quality two-way center that he should have originally been projected. He was never a first line center, but now in his new role is greatly appreciated.
The Habs have already ripped off the Oilers with the acquisition of Jeff Petry. That deal for a 2nd round pick would be the biggest, stupidest deal of the previous Oiler management. He wasn't going to resign with the Oilers, so to get to that "get anything" trade position was a major failure by management. While I personally appreciate that the Habs benefited from this stupidity, I would rather the Oilers stop with those types of management decisions.

If you want someone to bite you should try replacing "slightly used" with "display unit"we feel bad and we're trying to make good on the Petry thing, which is why we're sending you a slightly used Emelin
You don't draft someone 1st overall to be a two-way 2C making $6M per.
While looking at the 2011 draft class, I noticed the Canucks picked Jensen 29th. Rakell was the next pick.
Zack Smith got $3.25m a year for four years?
So apparently he scored 25 goals last year and could score about 20 this year....
Yeah I know, like what the hell I thought he was just your typical grit grinder. What are the chances he will be Colin Greening 2.0 tho?
If we trade Mark Stone who carries any line he's in just like Spezza, then yes he'll be Greening.
3.25 is good value for him. Has shown he can play with top6 guys.
